The clown one is actually traumatizing (in a "wow that's deep and scary" type of way, not actual trauma), like, from what I could gather from the pics in some of the exhibitions, this clown sicko kidnaped all these children and either killed them and put they're souls in these dolls, killed them and made them into dolls, or killed them and made dolls to exhibit them as cute lil clowns, boasting about his victory.
SECRET: Mr. Floaty and Ms. Stretch were once humans because the pictures in the background look almost the same as the characters, but they're human, they tell the stories of how each one became like this, and once broken, the pictures change too, in all the pictures it has a red man that turned them like this.
