And good memories evoked by hearing the voice of Canon Alan Dunstan in the second lesson and prayers, Precentor at Gloucester at that time (and dedicatee of John Sanders' iconic Reproaches, sung in many places on Good Friday), a great ecumenist and authority on hymns.
