Not all control decks are The Deck. I'm a control player and I eschew The Deck. StP, Disenchants, and Counterspells do not make a deck The Deck.
To me that Beast deck seems really awesome. Love seeing Terror(it's in my UWB sideboard).

Cannot agree more - to me, Moat + Serra Angel makes the deck scary. It basically removes all of your bolts and non-flyers from the game. Lot's of CA, even if it's not drawing cards.

"Guardian Beast having a lot of UNtapped potential?", I see what you did there :-). Nice game, control decks are a difficult match-up for mono green. Do you play with Berserk(s)? I feel those are critical in dealing enough damage early on (on creatures that received a Giant Growth). I'm also still advocating Citanul Druid in this artifact-rich environment. Should you play with sideboard against control decks (or any deck that splashes blue), Tsunami, Typhoon and Avoid Fate are all nice options. And Storm Seeker, always play at least one Storm Seeker in mono green.

I should, although this deck is not your standard aggro green deck. I play with three icy manipulators and 2 meekstone as control tools and Sylvans to draw me some extra cards. Side boarding would've definitely helped and I do have a sb for this deck, but with these casual games we often practice the first 60 and later get into sideboarding.

Great video! I realize I may not be the target audience (I play EDH and am trying to get into Legacy) but would it be possible to get a visual of some of the cards? While I understood what Guardian Beast was doing, it would have been helpful to have seen a blown up version when it entered the battlefield. That being said, I might have only seen one other 93/94 game played before and this was definitely the better one!

Thanks Nick Roberts and welcome to the channel. The great thing about OS 93/94 magic is that most cards are recognized by the art alone. That being said, I’ll see if I can add some more info to the vids in the future. Happy to read that you enjoyed the game 😊

Hi 👋 marxmeesterlijk , the one factory is used to give +1/+1 to the other factory. I also use my Pendelhaven to give +1/+2 to tge Llanowar Elves
