This is an experiment to see if we can add more custom cutscenes in the mod and so far it has worked well and will be included in the next version of the addon. Now what else we will be able to do, we shall see.
Interesting, Tekran made chaos more legitimate option for impoverished citizens of the imperium to join chaos, than any chaos space marine or lord and chaos themselves ever could, interesting 🤔
Villains who don't understand the value of the carrot over the stick tend to lose very quickly. Earn the loyalty of your people amd they'll die for you.
@@Tracer_Krieg all I’m saying is that it’s refreshing to see a chaos faction that isn’t fueled by power hungry maniacs. Most of the time people who join chaos are either want power, corrupted and insane.
@@woody8703 no no, I gotcha. Tekarn's different given that their betrayal by the Imperium frankly warranted legitimate Rebellion. While it's leaders might be personally motivated by promises of glory and power, their first instinct is the preservation of their society against both human and alien enemies. Chaos provided the means of which they could not only survive, but thrive against the multitudes of enemies surrounding them. Functionally, they still operate fairly close to how they did when they were in the Imperium. In many ways, it's a repeat of Badab.
@@woody8703 You are honestly directly on point. While GW intends the Imperium to be the "good guys" and Chaos the "bad guys", it is clear that many who have joined Chaos did so because they believe is the best for Humanity and the Imperium are not the nicest either. In addition, contrary to popular belief, most Tzeenchians and certain Slaaneshis even(like Pontius Glaw) are actually pretty reasonable and treat their people better than the Imperium. See the Thousand Sons and Soriratus citizens under Magnus, Glaw as I mentioned and depending on whom you ask, the Word Bearers consider themselves as being the good guys. Tekarn on that case is atm on the more reasonable side of Chaos compared to example to the Blood Pact, who while disciplined, just wish for war and only war.

Already done actually. Hence why we reveal now. It was meant as an experiment to see if we can do it for a full length cutscene and was a success. Before we only had an edit of a pre-existing cutscene(added a Daemonhunters bit in the vanilla campaign intro). Our hope is that we eventually do make for all new factions and remake vanilla ones, to remove some bad plot holes or conflicting elements. Or even if we are able, a fully custom mod campaign.

That was some amazing work we did here! And a huge thing to add in the Campaign! May we be well and do more!
While it took a while, this was genuinely fun to make. Hopefully, your comment is prophetic.

Thank you!

If GW has put this in canon, you're lucky.
Well, given GW has 'borrowed' elements from the mod before, wouldn't surprise me.
They have the Samurai Marines,so maybe that will tickle their fetish.

Here I thought the team were joking when they said that.
