This is such a toxic mother-daughter relationship. They seem to be in competition with each other, and their relationship has no proper boundaries. The mother is immature, behaves as if she’s one of her daughter’s friends, cultivates the sense of competition between them, doesn’t maintain a proper relationship, and seems to compete with her daughter. The daughter has no respect for her mother, has become accustomed to viewing her mother as an object of competition and someone she treats the same way she’d treat a friend, and maintains an extremely toxic connection with her. It’s hard to know who is the mother and who is the daughter & both are extremely improper with each other. There’s nothing cute about this at all and if they do have any real love for each other, it’s marred by all this foolishness & toxic impropriety. Totally ridiculous.
