for a person who already writes small strokes how would he be able to differentiate between a halved stroke and non halved one? from this point of view i see one advantage and a disadvantage for using small outline. he or she might be able to write comparatively faster but at the same time he or she wont be able to differentiate between halved and non halved strokes.

you have to maintain a particular size that is 1/6 of an inch for a normal stroke.. then it will be easy and you can differentiate between them.

Raman Madam.... pronunciation is must in shorthand but yours is not good. You pronounce HALVING as hafing. It's not correct. It's having. The pronunciation of READ is different when used as 2nd form of verb but you pronounce it same everywhere...plz correct if I'm right.
Otherwise your way of explaining things is most excellent and easy.
