I don't know if this will help, but I noticed when you are looting, if you Ctrl+Left Click it will auto loot your item and drop it on any current stack you have of it within your inventory. Once the stack is full, you will have to drag and drop to create a new stack of the item and then can Ctrl+Left Click again. Makes looting much faster.
