A lot of people aren’t consciously willing to change their perception on things and realistically that’s what’s holding them down from being a better person and experiencing life to the fullest.
How tf is digga gonna say that drill aint violent. Doing drills literally means riding out killing opps. Rappers who rap drill without doing drills get exposed
*Looks him up and down*..... Yeah.... This kid is going to be special, he seems like a good kid! He’s just grew up on the wrong sides of the road, I see where he’s coming from and reminds me of my old man in a way who grew up in Brixton 🙂
Crazy how Drill started in Chicago, popped off, inspired the world then years later after the genre started getting lukewarm in terms of the ‘hype’ around it, U.K. takes Drill into its own hands, puts a lil spin on it and then goes back to the U.S. pops off again! , madting
Is it F**K that's the rave scene from 1988 to present day with out us old skool pioneers there wouldn't be the scene there is today and that covers all music genres
I’m currently training to become a youth worker, solely to help kids who are leading a bad lifestyle. And I think that drill is probably one of the best outlets for the youth, and one of the best ways to get kids away from gangs and crime in general. I ask every one of you to listen to “ban drill” by krept and conan, it really paints a different picture. I’m glad digga d has managed to make something out of himself, despite his background.
Drill is so much different in the U.S. than in the UK and people aren't embarrassed of listening to it. Everybody likes rap and drill nowadays. We just have different sub genres of drill for everyone so it doesn't sound the same and american culture also has alot to do with it.
Theres a drill song about selling houses - it is literally a style of rap and beat but alot of these guys are caught between 2 lives the music often can help bring them out the worse side so prosecuting them bring them back to square one sometimes
I’m a fan of drill, I listen to it daily but it definitely has a bad influence on kids. Being from OT i see good utes acting bad because of drill, and I know my town isn’t the only one.
Yeah how much crime spiked in Chicago after the 2012 drill move, especially dropping real set names, real peoples names, dead people. It's real bad but you should be free to say what you want without censorship
You can’t be set up to fail if you can attend school for free, I want to attend but can’t get funding, 10 years of constant work still waiting to get a British passport to put my life together after spending so much on visa renewals. People underestimate opportunities
he says there was violence before drill but I swear knife crime in London has risen rapidly in recent years, possibly due to the rising popularity off drill
Not at all, Knife and Gun violence was way worse in the 2000's. I'll never forget how 2003 had the most murders due to Knife and Gun violence on record in the entire sovereign state. Knife violence only seems higher due to Social Media and the News hyping it up.
It was way more violent back then compared to now your right Birmingham was a lot worse just 10 years ago u had people moving wild shooting helicopters grown ass men 25 30 plus. Times have changed now it's about getting money and moving smarter. A lot more fakeness around the roads but a lot less crime really. At one time Scotland had the highest murder rate in Europe and Brum had multiple shootings a day. Drill music has a bad impact I believe but things are a lot nicer nowadays.
