My tips for a high end guitar. Keep it in the case to control humidity when not in use. Don’t hang it on the wall, especially in winter because the temperature difference in the room and wall can damage the guitar. Don’t over humidify either. Use a hydrometer to gauge humidity in the room and keep the room between 40 to 50 percent. Only wipe it down with a soft cloth and warm water if needed, no solvents or wax products. Wipe down after each use. Careful with aggressive strumming and belt buckles! Don’t let other people play it unless you’re willing to have an uncomfortable conversation if they scratch or ding it. 😊. Enjoy. She’s a beauty
@lousproductions3440 hahaha I totally understand. I play Classical guitar and acoustic steel string. I've gotten brand new Classical so definitely know the smell. Never a new Martin but my HD-35 has her own awesome smell like all guitars new or old. Definitely have smelled new Martins at guitar stores never out of the box though! Happy for you! Again, congratulations 🙏today is the worse she'll ever sound😂

That's not rosewood you're smelling, it's the cedar around the top and bottom used to add surface for glue joining the top and bottom to the sides.
Why you get the new guitar..?
Just something I’ve always wanted. 👍🏽
Beautiful guitars. Out of my budget
Yes big difference between the two
Yes… I’m definitely noticing 😃
Buena Vista Social Club on a Steinway! Let’s hear it.
Sure! 👍🏽 I love Afro Cuban
I think the smell is actually the Cedar kerfing...
