At this memorable day, I am reminded of the heroic action of Brig Aslam Janjua SJ, in 1965 War. As Company Commander, he was the first to cross over Indo-Pak border at Sulemanke Sector, to capture Indian position. Later he killed Indian Brig in a hand to hand fight. Awarded Sitara e Jurat, in recognition of his chivalrous action.
