I have the daisy rose version of that bag, I think you will like it when it’s a bit more broken in and the streps aren’t as rigid (like you were saying) it makes it look cheap because you can tell the straps are too lightweight to be leather . Downside is when it’s that broken in the coating might crack by then 😭 I folded the sides of mine in and cinched them that way, I’ve seen some people add a ring /sew the sides in, it makes it look a bit heftier/more luxurious that way (in my opinion anyway)
