Pandit Rajan and Pandit Sajan are both great artists of Indian classical music. Excellent rendition of Raag Nand . Last Sunday 26th April was a tremendously sad day to hear about death of Pandit Rajan Mishra ji of cardiac arrest caused by covid 19. Our hearts are loaded with pain to lose him in the music field which was so live with Pt. Rajan and Pt. Sajan. We pray to God to rest his soul in peace and give his family and all the music lovers the strength to bear this loss of Pandit Rajan Mishra ji. Om Shanti !

Kumarbose's tabla play outstanding, listning to this who says tabla artists are for only accompanying, In this Nand journey entire program stood at the beginning of drut, where Pt. Kumar bose suddenly out shadowed the Two great masters of Hindustani classical vocal music for a movement.
Which is precisely what you don't want from the tabla accompanist (the great Pandt Kumar Bose) in a vocal sangat. Vocal tabla accompaniments are supposed to be very reticent. Surpassing the main artist should be the last thing in the mind.
The Swarmandal caressed by Sajjan Mishra is actually irritating the overall Aalap experience. Its tak-tarak- tak sound is spoiling the musical experience instead of enhancing it. Khan Sahib Bismillah ji has also played a lovely Nand Kedhar bandish which melts one's heart. Thoo ka haan gaye oh....is a filmy version of Nandh
