Luna Lovegood.... How do I begin to explain her? She’s Crazy. I heard her hair insured for 10,000 gallons. I heard she does Halloween outfit commercials.... in Japan. Her favourite subject is Transfiguration. One time she met Hermione on a carriage. And she told her she’s pretty. One time she wore a lion outfit....... it was awesome.
She’s beautiful, wise, calm, and not afraid to speak her mind. She has the rare trait of not being afraid of what others think of her, and she is willing to see past the flaws in people and things that most others can’t. She is literally perfect.
She doesnt really speak from a personal point of view, she tries to transcend all of that, she wont ever fit in but shell be with people in heart, shell also be a mirror to peoples darker sides so theyll be wary of hanging out with her, and shell suffer greatly with them, without ever complaining about it or them understanding her.
I'm absolutely head over heels for Luna. She's so sweet and adorable. The actress who played her was super cute too! She portrayed her so well. Hands down my favorite!
What I thought was really amazing is the Harry went along with it and agreed even though he seemed uncertain if this was a good idea. Harry believes in the people around him and lets them know he believes in them by having faith in their abilities when they are faltering or he is and by encouraging them of their capabilities when they are uncertain. He does this with everyone to an extent, but with those he considers friends and/or mentors it is often in a more robust manner. Because the internet/social media is the internet/social media: Now I am very sure the naysayers and eternal optimists can find the negativity or the positivity in this attribute of Harrys, such as; blind faith, spineless, didn't want to hurt her feelings, or carried unbending faith in his friends. I do not think that either side would be absolutely correct. Take the situation mentioned above (fixing the broken nose). Harry showed her he had faith in her by accepting her offer even though her response was not comforting and he had experience with someone 'fixing' his bones, that removed them instead. He did not act like, 'I am 100% sure of this,' he agreed despite his uncertainty written all over his face because he believed in Luna's ability and was willing to take the risk. He did not take the risk to keep from hurting her feelings either because he could have mentioned the last time someone fixed his bones and that he was uncomfortable due to that and not because of her ability. The fact that he was not false in his emotions by showing his uncertainty, while accepting her assistance, on something that could have serious (potentially deadly) implications if it went wrong, showed her that he had actual faith in her by proceeding despite the non comforting response to his question.
There r some characters in stories that seem to change the game in the favour of the protagonist in ways unbelievable. Despite not doing much, Luna Lovegood seems to be such a character. All she did was be herself in the story, and she won, with her being herself.

She is one of my favorite characters She acts how I wish girls would act, just enjoying life, I hang out with the boys at my school atho they can be idiots sometimes it's a lot more fun then doing tictoks all day

Do I need to explain why everyone loves Luna? First off, she looks adorable. That was a no brainer. Second off, she has a wonderful personality. Plus, I love the contrasts between Hermione and Luna. While Hermione is all about logic and facts, Luna thinks the way she does through faith, which I understand completely. (Even though she’s technically superstitious like other wizards/witches I could name. [*cough* Sybil Trelawney *cough*])
the fact that she married Newt Skmander's grandson and became the second most notable Magizooologist in the wizarding world is not a surprise. Luna had a perception way beyond most witches and wizards. The books demonstrated this more clearly than the movies.
