Amen brother!! I bought AWT scales for my manix 2 and it’s a game changer. I went ahead and got them for the bugout, para 3 and benchmade freek. They’re all better knives now.
Sweet video Tyler - thanks for your perspective. I love that you were not hard and fast to "only blade models that were newly released in 2022" for your stuff. Peace brotha and congrats on the rapid growth, as you really deserve it for your commitment to editing, style, and humorous injections!
I kick myself for missing the Bridgeport 365, but I can't catch 'em all. I opted to use that $ to chase the Kunwu Pulsar on a Kickstarter. It won't get here until January, but it's my gift to me. Those scales for the Manix make me wish I still had one. Thanks for the run-down, brother T! Have an awesome week!
Always enjoy hearing your thoughts. Aluminum is a very easy and inexpensive way to make scales. Thought about making some myself. Really transformed the K320 to me. I’m sure it would be the same for a Manix. Good to see you back doing a video. I know you’re time is limited. Kinda why I just try the one a week schedule 👊😎

Ahhhh hell yeah! As I told another guy, that's why I created the channel bro, to have fun with our community (and justify my addiction) I have a series running now that I'm giving away a trm shadow, microtech exocet, and another unannounced model so be sure to at least enter in those brotha!
Thank you dude, greatly appreciate those types of comments lol! Yes it boosts the ego a bit but it is one of the two main reason I created the channel in the first place. The other being making an excuse to collect more knives LOL!
When I get my 2x 15v manix 2s I will 100% be putting the awt scales on one and keeping the other new. Manix 2 is without doubt my fav knife model period.
I saw the Bridgeport a couple months ago and forgot about it. Watched your vid and remembered I needed to grab it. Drop was yesterday and I missed it, by one day. Damn. Just ordered the AWT scales for the manix the other day though and was torn between them and some others. Had no idea about the added screw and now am glad I went with those. Knew they were grat though because I have the griptilian scales. Honestly the only way will carry the grip is with their scales.
doesn't include the shaman because of the different scales but proceeds to include everything else because of the Scales...waiting to see if any of these knives actually came out this year...smh
@@EEDC thanks for the offer. I have a manix2 lightweight that I'm happy with. I had a great holiday and hopefully you did too even though you're Navy. How's your brother ?
Glad to see another vid. Haven't really been watching a lot of knife stuff cause my budget kicks me when I do 😂 makes me wanna by soooo many that I can't. But still great to see you still going. Still love my cogent. Haven't dyed the scales yet but I've got a mirror edge that can only be called "excessively sharp" and I carry it every day.

Sooo much thought went into this one, fricken love it! Thanks for watching brotha
With what your saying about 14c... my response to people when they say oh 14c on a 100+ knife there's no way. I say if it had s30v or s35vn would it be a deal to you? They almost always say yeah.. my response is in the vastly majority of cases if the 14c is done well it will perform with the vast majority of s30v/S35vn on the market, and is a tougher steel with more edge stability
@@EEDC feels cheap, slippery scales, super light detent, doesn’t have a “solid” feel in the hand, minor blade play, gritty/inconsistent button lock, unsatisfying sound at lockout

I'm not trying to troll or be unreasonably critical. I enjoyed your work and I was interested in your opinions. That said I really didn't like the gloves.
