When I play this little card game I feel like I am 'at war' with my opponent. Luck, which does exist here, does not make me feel as if my decisions did not matter. But some of the battles can be brutal. Still, that just makes a good comeback even sweeter. This game does bring out the best, or the beast in us, and for such a little card game, it sure leaves its mark. This game makes me want to win, and I like losing this game less than others. I'm not sure why though. Terrific review as always!
THIS GAME IS COOL BUT, AT LEAST THE ITALIAN VESSELS SHOWN IN THE CARDS, ARE ALMOST RETIRED VESSELS OR "NEVER GONE TO THE HIGH SEAS OR ACTIVE DUTY" LIKE THE RUSSIAN "COMMAND RADAR DOME SHIP" (DO NOT REMEMBER THE NAME !!!)... THEY COULD AT LEAST "UP TO DATE THE NAVAL DATABASE" BEFORE RELEASING IT... THE VESSELS MAY BE THE SAME SHOWN INTO THE VERSION OF THE 80 / 90S !!!

the very first gun combat card you used did not match its symbol with that of the ship you picked as the "launcher of that attack"...
