I know about Jesus ascending into heaven from the Bible. Even in sermons I've heard, nothing was mentioned in any length or depth of any specific date. However, this is the first time I've ever heard of Ascension Day in all of my 70 years! Will now finish listening to the rest of the video to learn more of the particulars.

God is merciful, good, and generous. He makes his rain to fall on the righteous and the unrighteous, just the same. That being so, people who are not saved do not have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The prayer that they need to be praying is the prayer of repentance, and asking for forgiveness. That is where they need to start. I hope this helps.
