Their actually is a marker that shows which enemys will be shot it seems bugged tho - My current work around is to equipt throwing knifes, aim at a zombie and then change to the bow and it should stay
There really needs to be some kind of indicator as to which infected you've marked. Even just a red dot over their head would be perfect, and we already know the underlying programming already exists to do this because when you scope out a bandit camp with binox you see a red dot over each bandit's head. Idk why they thought this ability didn't need any kind of indicator. Kind of a silly oversight if you ask me.
It may be a bug, but no, serial shot doesn't work with the crossbow. However, the crossbow is still an absolute must-have item. By the end of the game it's doing well over 650 damage with each bolt (so long as you have the Power Shot skill also.) It's absolutely insane.
If you want a way to have a indicator take out a throwing knife and aim it at the enemy, then cancel the lock on doing so should make it where now your bow has a lock on
