Merry Christmas Eddie! Thanks for all the fun this year, I appreciate how hard you all work to keep us entertained. Hope you, your family, Mark, ZZ and Hank all have a great holiday!
I love wood with character . As long is if there is no ring shake, i can make eye catching deep platters for fruit. Merry Christmas , and i hope to see some Holly cut sometime!
Mr. Eddie I enjoy watching and learning from you fellows. You were talking about knots in the lumber, I like the knots because to me it gives the lumber character. As always thank you for your time and experience sharing.
Ugly log, ugly wood except for the money it will bring in lol. Walking away is usually the best advice to be given when patience is running thin. Merry Christmas. Bill
That will be some awesome lowboy decking We will use black/red oak Locust. And also really low grade white oak. It all works really good. Great Video Mr. Eddie Thank you
Ed, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. IMHO this was a beautiful log, oh what table tops they would make. Patience and some tender wood working would transform these ugly ducklings.
Hi Ed. Water oak!? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 We have swamp silver maple trees w/ all red leaves. This oak reminds me a lot of the old elm trees of the early 1980s. Thanks Say Hi to Mark, ZZ, & Hank. Have a good Sunday the 22nd. 🥰😊😉🥶👍❤️💜🧡💛💚🤍💙🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌫⛅️🌬🎄
Have not been getting you tube notifications - from you or Mark G > Hope that's fixed - so i guess the word of the day here was for ma [many others as well] Patience.....yes even with you tube lol Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:3-4) Thanks Eddie appreciate the time and effort into you videos, always learn something and enjoy them... Gotta go back and find the ones i missed: from SE Texas Bear ❤💯🙏
Eddie: "I find if you lose your patience it's best to just walk away."....But ZZ finds it best to just sprint away. This is why we are bestowing ZZ with the vaunted 'T.H.E.' title before his name, T.H.E. ZZ Mark, in his case it stands for, The High-Tail (or High-Tale) it out of there Expert.
Only trailer decking ??? A needed commodity! My local sawmill only saws 4" x 12" incremental hardwood construction cribbing until 24" x 24", fence boards from the trimmings, all other wood is shreaded into mulch. If you want to see cribbing and deck planking in use please SEARCH and watch Part 6: Rebuilding the Clinchfield Railroad Bridge on TH-cam, Helene flood damaged Norichucky River Gorge in NC. CSX is building a temporary access bridge to save the river ecology while restoring their railroad bridge flooded apart. Saving equipment and supplies river crossings the yellow crane has constructed this temporary bridge. The red crane 1/4 mile down river will be used to salvage the 3 reusable old bridge sections while being used to construct the arriving new replacement section. Please note the rock basket protecting the wooden criibing/ramps during winter and spring weather riggars. The railroad bridge location on the railroad is called Popular. The most aromatic Yule tree this Pennsylvanian ever saw is the noble fir from the Hood River area. Merry Christmas all.
That defeatedly be ugly ugly stick of wood there. In as far as patience is concerned, Patience is not just a virtue as many people have exclaimed, but a way of life and more importantly a life's choice. This is part due to the fact that it requires total commit from one's mind, body, soul and existential being. To be patient with others one must be patient with themselves.
