Big up Mr Don Sinclair for this upload! You bring back some memories me breddrin! Nuff respect to the mighty Saxon sound! Still pushing the vibes fe years! Love and blessings from the island of Cyprus! Respect don.
I Didnt actually go to the carnival. watching this video tears was streaming down my face to see all nations united n enjoying themselves big up urselves people n most of all the Saxon sound yeah
Allan Brando have the potential to be the next David Rodigan of the U.K. His presentation & clarity in his speeches are authentic and powerful. He should consider a solo move to enhance his career. Good luck Brando !!!
Brando DOESN'T even have enough knowledge of his own music era or experience of Sound System culture. Rodigan has NO Sound System experience at all. He is a radio DJ. Saxon IS a Sound System. Don't confuse the two. These reggae tracks are common, VERY basic selection.
@@JackRubyish I respect your opinion on Brando but what do you mean Rodigan don’t have NO Sound system experience at all. I have seen the pioneers of the sound systems Jack Ruby, Sir Coxsone, Jammy’s, Jack Scorpio, etc but with all their knowledge and experience, none of them are able to deliver the music to patrons or and audience with such profound impact with history and knowledge. We have to accept that a good DJ is an art form that is only perfected by a limited amount of people. Having the experience as a producer or a sound owner doesn’t automatically makes you a great selector. We need to put some respect & props on the man name regardless of his race or creed.
@@JackRubyishexactly. I was watching videos to see which sound I might post up by at carnival this year and these are songs you play for the casual reggae listener. These songs play at every single family event, every single dance, every radio show. It's very boring. But of course if you're under your liquor you may sway same way because they are good songs. Just that they're overplayed.
@@joedex6222well I recently learnt that the 'facts' rodigan gives are often inaccurate. Try checking some of them next time you listen to him. Which is fine, that's a lot of general knowledge to hold but if that alone makes him a good selector, well it's false.
Saxon holding it up!! And they want to close down this type of vibes what we as the working class people look forward to ONCE a year. You cannot have house parties anymore because of noise. If this locks down???????
