( i would rate it 5/5 as a new series - don't watch it because of ash but watch it because of pokemon ) i am watching pokemon since 2010 but watching pokemon horizons i got why they want to remove Ash and its totally valid and ok to remove him for now. the reason 1 is clear: pokemon don't want to be completely depended on Ash and his particular pokemons instead want its fans to be diverse and understand others are also powerful and the world of pokemon is far bigger then we saw in ash story and episodes ( like its not just gym battle and then tournament its a lot more then that ) rest of the reason: you will get yourself after watching 20 episodes of pokemon horizons - well its worth it series )

I haven't watch Ash enter the Galar league and I really want Serena return as Ash's travel companion permanently in the real Sword and Shield series anime because Journeys anime is just a non-canonical reboot.

Hi A2. I am an OG fan who has watched Pokemon since it came to india including one on Hungama in 2015. Horizons has a deep storylines and it just feels like Pokemon went through a hyper massive upgrade… just with Liko and Roy not Ash. Ik it hurts without ashy boy but sooner or later he would have gone and HE BECAME THE VERY BEST LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS! I am enjoying Liko’s character more now…. Horizons is like a different era and I am ready to accept it because the way they have created Liko and Roy they do not make u miss Ash while watching. People need to know that Ash time was over as he had reached the pinnacle of glory and nothing could be done with his character anymore
