The Redcat TC8 Marksman Scale Rock Crawler is an 1/8 scale size rig, built on the Redcat TC8 platform. The Marksman is a highly capable RTR scale trail crawler that includes a HobbyWing QuicRun WP Crawler 80A ESC, Holmes Hobbies 13T Crawlmaster 550 brushed motor, Hexfly high voltage 25kg digital steering servo and RCR-2CENR 2-channel 2.4GHz radio system. This electronics package is reliable, super smooth, and has precise low end throttle control for the most technical trails.
The Marksman was created for serious RC driving. The TC8 chassis features a front-mounted motor, centrally-mounted divorced transfer case, and center-mounted battery tray. This setup offers excellent weight distribution and consistent handling. Heavy-duty gears are used in the single speed transmission with 32 pitch pinion and spur gear and slipper clutch. The centrally-mounted divorced transfer case utilizes heavy-duty MOD1 gears and the TC8 is fitted with a complete set of rubber sealed bearings.

OK at 4:23 you answered my question about tire performance. The Tire mod of removing alternating tread to create more grooves is brilliant. LOL I can imagine all the late comments or questions ..and you guys are like…ffs we made a whole damn video on that! 😂 I appreciate your work. 😅

How did you hook up the LED headlamps for the various colors? What Control unit did you use to work with the radio? great mods by the way, I grabbed the OGRC X0036ROGUZ light kit.
Thanks man really appreciate it 🤝 I used Channel #4 on the Flysky GT5 controller to change the light colors, and a FSB6 receiver
