Yes you could change the oring in between the boiler halves if you can find a vendor that has it. You might be able to just replace the seal but you might find that the limescale has eaten away part of the boiler material and you will not get a very good water tight seal.
Do have a question.I have the magic deluxe and is water suppose to come out where the drip tray goes in backside far right corner?I read it is supposed to do that prevent a build up of pressure.Alway let's out about an 1 oz of water right after brewing cycle finishes.Never leaks any other time and its not really a problem if the drip tray is left in place.Picked it up at a Goodwill outlet for $3.00 and so far only other issue is the water level magnet in the tank causes the empty sensor to come on.Put a magnet on outside of tank and have too keep an eye on water level.Might replace tank later,but for now it works.
You could have a couple of problems. The grinder might be set to fine or you might be putting to much coffee into the doser mechanism. The pump could be bad. I have also seen the hoses get clogged due to lime scale build up. How old is your machine? if you review our pump replacement video for a Saeco Vienna you will be able to see the born on date and the average life span of that type of pump. If your pump is past the life span their is a good chance your pump is bad.
@ICEDR. I need help, we have the same coffee machine, and now i cannot use it due to some problems, like it cannot produce air or the steamer is not working, and the monitor indicates "warming up".. please help me w/ this. Thanks!
I just put mine in to technician mode by holding down the steam and the loose coffee button and the main power for like 5 seconds. This puts you in to that mode.

How do you get the machine into the “technician mode?”
I just put mine in to technician mode by holding down the steam and the loose coffee button and the main power for like 5 seconds. This puts you in to that mode.
