As an Iowa farm boy, when I had time, I would run down to Toolesburo Landing and sit and watch the tows go by. I watched amazed at the crews navigated the Mississippi around the bends and followed the marked bouy routes. The whole time those big diesels were singing away shouldering the load. I also lived catching them lock thru at Muscatine or Keokuk, and seeing them maneuver Such large vessel in tight spaces. Glad I grew up close enough to of experienced these things.
That's for now work for Ingram back in the '70s late '80s never did work on this boat but worked on several others Stevie Crowley was Port Captain he was a fine man He and I went to school together
I worked on the rhine, on a simular ship but we Transport only 6 barges with 6000 PS. Very intersesting to See this. I dream about to come to the USA an see the shipp Traffic in the Mississippi.
Those numbers are incredible.
It's pretty amazing what they do.

I used to work on that boat back in the 70s and late 80s, can't believe how good it still looks.

I rode the M/V A. Steve Crowley in the late 90s for Ingram. He was the Port Captain then.
Great camera work, great quality, great music, great boat, and great stats A+ on everything about this.
Good 👍 looking boat and pictures 👍
I’m impressed, it’s my nature to be critical when numbers are presented as facts. I find no flaws in your numbers and exceptionally good camera work.
What a boat. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! She’s a beast!

These are beautiful boats all 3 sisters.
Next video, give us more time to read the text. Thanks.
Funny enough I lengthened them quite a bit after my initial edit. This style of video is too time intensive to do often.
Yes, I was wondering if anyone read the information without setting the play to a reduced speed or jumping back a few seconds to re-read the captions.
