    I think most people who watch the Bryan Bros Golf videos are invested (emotionally) in watching George earning his PGA Tour Status. This match makes this video difficult to watch but the 68K views in 6 hours tells you a lot about the support your subscribers have for you. While this might be painful now, I believe that your subscribers would be the first ones to ask you to not give up. At some level, your fans are riding the highs and lows with you and would be willing to watch you struggle next year or the year after because you give them hope and you give them entertainment and you give them something to cheer about. They dont follow you because you are Tour Pro, they follow you because you have opened yourself up to them and let them share these moments, both good and bad. Give them hope for tomorrow and they will be there for you

      Your production quality continues to be better and better edit work and music/ sound first class.Hang in there George it's been a great year for you and Wesley both. It's hard to be aggressive on such fast greens I think on all the three puts came from being over cautious.. Besides a couple shots in 4 rounds, tugged left, your miss seemed short and right mostly right with a hand full of shots fell victim of false fronts that rolled back off the green. Hard luck on several lip outs and a few puts that seem to have break from a slope and the puts never moved even at drip in pace the balls staid straight.I look forward George Win lose tie your fans know it's not easy putting your heart and soul on the line for all to see in the most pressure fill week of the PGA year.Don't lean to hard on this week all great players need short memories sometimes.

    I think the bounce back from the triple might be the best golf instruction on YT. GB is just so chill and focused. How many of us let that 6 ruin a round and he totally hung tough. Hearing him talk through the response to a tough hole was just super inspiring. Didn’t advance himself this year but all the mic’d up narrative around these matches really is so valuable to us 85-shooters who let a round get away because of a bad shot or hole. here's the problem I have, George is good enough, but having the mentality of having fun is not going to win, your goal is to win at all costs. Being aggressive is good only if its accurate. Hitting it into bunkers killed your game, blasting driver on a lot of holes where its not needed took you over par. You are a far better long iron player than short iron. I don't understand why you don't take the bunkers and trouble out of play and rely on your best asset, which is your long irons. I think if you took out the trouble you could have shot under par all rounds. To reiterate my thoughts from a few weeks back, his game has remained stagnant not due to his physical game but his mentality. If that can change your looking at a pga player.

    • @samgarewal
      @samgarewal วันที่ผ่านมา

      I disagree with the first part of your comment. The goal of having fun in a competitive setting is a great goal because it allows you to get over mistakes and not crumble when you face adversity. Google “2024 Olympic Scottie scheffler whiteboard goal” and tell me what you find

      Disagree. He played his strategy well, and psychologically, if playing for fun is how he stays out of tilt then that is far more valuable than a couple of missed bunkers.

      I have to disagree a little bit...no actually quite a bit. As a former failed competitor, the hardest part about competitive golf is keeping pressure off of yourself. In this video, George was as positive as anyone I could possibly imagine under that kind of pressure. Being super competitive isn't the key to making more birdies, unless your name is Tiger Woods.
      Tee to green, George's game is fine. Short game is definitely not yet PGA tour caliber. As usual, it's the short game that gets you over the hump. I mean, how many short putts did he miss for birdie or par in four rounds? How many chips did he not get close?

      @ bullwinklemoose8291 I agree that his short game isn’t up to the level of a tour player. But being positive can only take you so far. Wes has that warrior dawg mentality. I just don’t see that in George.

    As I am sure you are aware everybody is MENTAL. There are so many ways to process stress so that we can purge yesterday so we can be free today. You sharing your experience here in this Vlog is just a different form of journaling and I have no doubt that it’s cathartic for you. Thanks for sharing this journey with us. You’re a great example in more ways than you probably know.

    Great job JERG. I know it wasn’t the result you wanted, but you’re a great golfer. Just keep grinding and I have no doubt that you will be a full time PGA golfer in no time. However, despite what you think, you are already a super accomplished golfer who has inspired myself as well as countless others in the game of golf. Your positive attitude and great personality is infectious and a breath of fresh air. I truly wish that there were more golfers out there like you. Keep up the hard work and great content, and from one Carolina Alum to another, Go Gamecocks!!!

    Keep chipping away at it George, it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out in the public eye let alone pursue golf at the highest levels. The negative comments are just people coping because they’re too afraid to actually try to achieve something of their own.

    I am a Brit who saw you guys when Rick came over and I’m hooked on your content now. I was soo gutted you didn’t qualify George you are such a genuine lovely guy and very talented. Those greens were insane and seeming as you don’t practice on greens that fast your putting was insanely good. You and Wes are great bros and I will be following you through 2025 and pray you get your card. You need to come over to Blighty and play some golf with Rick next year, time it for the Open in Northern Ireland in July would be epic!!

    Every decision that you have made in your life has led up to this moment, this time you got through to the 2nd round of Q school. This is a learning opportunity from a very tough 3 days of golf. Learn, adapt and overcome. Do not allow the disappointment to detract from the fact you are an amazing golfer. Hold your head high and put the work in so next Q school event, you'll be 100 times more prepared than you were for this one.

      the course conditions play a big part in it. The course in this video was 7800 yards with hard/fast greens and tough flag spots. I would assume a scratch golfer here would be shooting in the 80s and probably not low 80s
