    He is not fighting for his village. He is fighting for the nation which is the motive of all freedom fighters. He had to kill his own father. So his mindset is to make sacrifices keeping his feelings aside.

    Until u see what Raju had to do at such a young age to his father, you don't really get the depth of what his character has been through. I mean, he had to kill his father, that made him think that anything he does for the greater good is okay. Bheem motivating the others shows him the other way around. They don't understand Raju arch because they're not Indians... We understand it because we know what our nation has been through for more than 200 years .... What ram was doing was for greater good . Bheem only fought for malli and his people.. Ram wasn't just fighting for his village he was fighting to get those weapons for his village so he could train them to end the enslavement of whole nation .... It's about the whole country and we Indians don't take freedom fighters so lightly.... So many of them died so we could have freedom..
      It's about whole India . For saving millions of people and their future generations few deaths were sacrifice for greater good that's what they had in mind . That's why they died for us. That's what we see Ram's father doing how he made his son keep going even after he saw his son and wife die .. and he died himself...
      That was the time you can't think about yourself or few people or problems like we face Today.. doing that was hard for them too but they did for next generation. For us .. we still suffer and we always gonna remember them and keep them alive in our memories since this life and freedom we have is because of their sacrifice.. Bheem would've left after talking malli then what . Ram wants to protect whole country . We understand his reasoning since our people faced it and we live it ourselves everytime we read about it or watch movies about it .

      I understand that these people r unaware of this, but these characters Ram and Bheem are taken directly from indian history's greatest freedom fighters and revolutionists, Ram is *Alluri seeta rama raju* The freedom fighter who sacrificed his life for India, he was brutally killed by british for fighting against them for freedom, legend says that the way Ram was killed is by britishers firing 100 bullets into his body... We indians especially andhra and telangana people whenever take his name we say it with utmost respect...

  • @vithihas1686
    @vithihas1686 ปีที่แล้ว +24

    I just want to clarify one thing to Steph & Corteny that a country's freedom struggle should always has to be on top of any individual life or individual cause.
    Clearly you have seen that Ram has lost his brother, mother infront of his eyes & more importantly had to kill his own father with his own hands. So it's clearly portrayed that even his own family comes second to him infront of the country's freedom. That is what his father said him.
    Yes bheem has came to save one small innocent child. But Ram had a mission from 15 years to get freedom to his country by getting weapons to all his villagers to revoult against the British empire.
    And when you guys realize that country comes 1st above anything & everything, then you will be able to connect to the storyline and gets to know the internal struggle of what Ram is going through and still he kept fighting for his country's freedom untill he realizes that it's not weapons what will bring the freedom but it's the common people in the country who turned into a weapon will bring the freedom by their revolution against the British.
    I have seen many RRR reaction videos on TH-cam till date & you are the only guys who haven't understood the situation of Ram character what he is going through even after getting to know his backstory.

    Bheem (however amazing he might be) but for Ram he is still just one man whose only reason for coming to Delhi is to get Malli. And no matter how much Ram loves him, for a freedom fighter one single person can never stand in front of the cause of saving the nation. They are made with sacrifices, not even their family stand in front of their motherland.

    1. Bahubali 1 (strong 2nd half, boring 1st half, but at the end you manage to cling on to your seat)
    2. Bahubali 2 (Strong 1st half & more but wasted climax, yet you won't leave your seat)
    * Both Bahubali 1 & 2 have been directed & partly written by S S Rajamouli
    3. Eega, awesome love story told in a way different manner, also one Rajamouli's gems
    4. Pushpa (another recent release)
    5. KGF 1
    6. KGF 2 (both are blockbuster masala movies)
    7. Rockstar
    8. Rocket Singh
    9. Vikram
    10. Kashmir Files (the true reality of Kashmir)
    11. Shershaah
    12. Uri
    13. Sardar Udham
    14. Rocketry
    There are many more, but these are just to prepare you to warm up towards diversity of latest Indian movies
    15. Ram Leela
    16. Padmaavat

There thousand of people dead, this guy's lil brother died at young age, mother dies... M not even counting that father part which they haven't watched until this torture scene.... @Jabykoay it's okay if they hate Raju because they really don't know about our culture, struggles for freedom from British. same like us don't know the culture of them and judging some war movies of them are bad. there is no need of everyone should have same opinion. we should thank them for watching it. don't spread hate comments on comment section because we need true reaction not a reaction who always supports us even though if it is not good.

    Ram (Raju) is based off a real life freedom fighter - but also is written to reflect personality traits of Sri Rama. In other words, the people always come first - despite your own emotions, interests, or desires. The highest virtue is sacrifice in the name of the greater good.
    That may be a cultural context which we take for granted. For the Indian viewer, we automatically assume everything Raju is doing after the backstory reveal is difficult and hurting him - yet he is doing it as he is sacrificing his own desires for what will be the greater good. After he sees the effect of Bheem's song - he realizes, but more importantly can justify saving Bheem and Malli.
    Also, while Bheema's mission is for his own people and their safety - Ram and his tribe would be held in high regard by them as Ram's tribe are the ones actually committed towards and pursuing rebellion. Which is why Bheem asks him to teach him at the end.

      no sacrifice is better. sometimes "greater good" is used too often as excuse.

    • @suprith5443

      @@samueljones621 like sita said even raju couldn't understand what he is doing is right or not. But you have to understand that this guy had to shoot his own father as a child ofc he'd put his own Mission above all else.
