More reps. You can’t think too much on the field, so you need more practice reps and mental reps going over things so it becomes second nature on the field
Hi coach I am a wide receiver and when I practice I do all my footwork good and I run quick but in the games I don’t run quick and don’t do my football and I don’t know why because I am not nervous i just don’t do do it and I don’t know why.
Honestly man in a game you just need to play fast. Can’t think too much, or if you don’t think that’s your problem- you need more practice reps so these good practice habits you have can become more second nature. Need to dedicate a lot of time to it before it’s second nature. Hope this can help!
I mean if it’s a team scrimmage you have to run whatever is called- but if you can decide I recommend hitches, slants, posts and corners when they are in off man.
I have a problem, when i get on the field i usually just run routes but not using the tips because my mind goes blank. Any tips to stop that?

Hey coach, what routes should I use in a scrimmage and a db (he's always in man) is playing about 10 yards off me?
