I truly appreciate how you keep a picture of the book you’re talking about on the screen the whole time. I listen to videos while working or doing chores so sometimes I forget what’s being discussed, but this helps soooo much
Also helps to be able to hear you talk about the book before deciding to add to the TBR and not having to back track the video to get the proper title and author name
I'm late on this one, but I just need to say you're my absolute favorite booktuber, I love how you describe books. Thank you for being my #1 source for recs xx
I’ve never heard of the 12-hour method, but I absolutely love it! I have such trouble sitting still for the entire day that I get disheartened about doing readathons, but I think this idea might be a lot of help! 😍🍑
I love the beasts of the briar series! I usually don’t enjoy reverse harem or mmf relationships but this was great! I am just finishing the 4th book now and the story while sometimes predictable is actually very entertaining. I’m still excited to see where things go and I cannot believe there are 3 more books after this. The last book really threw everything on a loop and this book is looking to do the same. I do agree there is some cheese and the overall writing is not earth shattering, I am still having so much fun and I cannot wait for more. I’m so glad someone I follow is finally reading it!
I felt the same way about Frost, because of the modern day references, but also as you mentioned loved the humor and the vicious fae. I need to reread it since it's been too long because I remember that I really wanted to pick up book 2 but it just didn't happen. Loved the reading vlog🥰🍑
The moment when you start talking about Peaches and Honey that she is granted eternal life and we watch her go through history is just when Ivy enters and strolls casually behind your back
Peaches and Honey was one of my favorite reads of the year. The main character was very aspirational, she was such a good person 🥺 Weirdly though, I have no interest in reading the second book in the duology. I feel like the first book left off on a satisfying note for me.
The way you felt about Tricky Magic is how I felt about Bride. I didn’t dislike it but it read more contemporary and the paranormal was an afterthought. It’s said to be about vampires and werewolves but was it really?🤨
I’m so glad you enjoyed peaches and honey! It’s truly an amazing read and personally, I enjoyed the second book even more. I’m excited to hear what you think of that one next🥰 🍑 🍑 .
As someone who felt like they should’ve enjoyed Addie LaRue more than they did I’m excited to hear you liked Peaches & Honey. I’ll have to check it out! 🍑
For Bonded By Thorns I really recommend that you continue on with the series, because the books get bigger and many people say that there is too much spice
Since you like Book of Azrael and you are gonna re-read City of Gods and Monsters soon, I recommend that you read City of Thorns by C. N. Crawford, it has that dark Crescent City vibe which you love 🌙
The TikTok comment reminded me of Quicksilver- at one point Kingfisher says something along the lines of “Let me give you the Cliff Notes version of this…” and it threw me off so much that I almost DNF’d right then and there.
I love your channel so much, and have found soo many new books that I love and that I want to read. To thank you for that I have a recommendation for you, I really think you should read the "A Tempest of Shadows" Series by Jane Washington. The balance of fantasy worldbuilding, plot and romance is perfect and the world and magic is so unique and atmospheric, although it has a lot of components that are in other books its still totally unique and I've never read another series like it. This is my favourite series after Throne of Glass and I really really think you will love it and have lots of fun with it. if you do ever read it, please vlog it--I would love to know what you think of it.
Honestly I wouldn’t have had high hopes for tricky magic just based off the cover. They just look like a boring couple to me and I’m not sure why. I might still try it though! Curiosity killed the cat and all 😅
Got a recommendation....just reading Metal Slinger by Rachel Schneider. It's really good. Certainly a 4 star so far. I'm rocketing through it. Not quite finished it but I think it is something you'll enjoy.
Omg you have to read it. I did not see the ending coming. One of the best endings I've read in a long time. Please please read this book it deserves more hype.
I truly appreciate how you keep a picture of the book you’re talking about on the screen the whole time. I listen to videos while working or doing chores so sometimes I forget what’s being discussed, but this helps soooo much
I do the exact same thing! 😊
Same!
Same it’s also nice to look at while listening to
Also helps to be able to hear you talk about the book before deciding to add to the TBR and not having to back track the video to get the proper title and author name
Rachel is so pretty she literally looks like a fantasy character 🫶
Whenever Rachel posts a video my life feels easy and beautiful 😊
I'm late on this one, but I just need to say you're my absolute favorite booktuber, I love how you describe books. Thank you for being my #1 source for recs xx
🍑 always love your recommends! Thanks for keeping me up to date on all the fantasy!

Just added "Peaches and Honey" to my tbr i'm glad you enjoyed it. Hope to see your reviews on "Never keep" in a reading vlog soon🍑
Yayyy first! You look absolutely gorgeous 🥹💗🫶🏻 I am seated for this video!
I absolutely loved the part of Peaches and Honey where we learn about the bone ring and where it came from 🥺
omg same such a sweet moment 😭
As a lover of cliffhangers, you should read Metal Slinger - I didn’t see the twist at the end coming, it was a good one!
I love that you’re a kindle girlie because same💕 I need to get more into KU fantasy romance 😊
I always look forward to your videos! Love reading vlogs 😊
Also an updated bookshelf tour would be amazing!

yayyy!!! love your channel!!!!
I knew the beautiful Tricky Magic cover was too good to be true... glad the others were all wins!
Great reading vlog 💖. You've convinced me to add Frost and Peaches and honey to my tbr, and I'm going to move Bonded by thorns up it.
The moment when you start talking about Peaches and Honey that she is granted eternal life and we watch her go through history is just when Ivy enters and strolls casually behind your back
The last Beasts of the Briar book just came out and I can't wait to see what happens!

🍑loved this!!❤

Great comparison! Bride was one of my biggest fail reads this year😂 So disappointed by that book, too
🍑 I will definitely add frost and bonded by thorns on the TBR

I listened to the graphic audio audiobook version of Frost and really loved it !!! I recommend checking it out.
So Bonded by thorns….was it better than Broken Bonds? Or just more fun? 🍑
This was a fun watch! I really want to get into more fantasy retellings!!🤍🍑
Honestly I wouldn’t have had high hopes for tricky magic just based off the cover. They just look like a boring couple to me and I’m not sure why. I might still try it though! Curiosity killed the cat and all 😅
Try reading The Umbra King if you haven't already!!!!!
❤
