I just realized, Paoay (Ilocos Norte) and Caoayan (Ilocos Sur) has the similarities to each other, such as the Festival, Sounds, Cultures, Dance, Costumes, and Props. I'm genuinely surprised by how similar Paoay and Caoayan are as I watch their performance. They actually perform the identical sounds and movements. Even the storyline because they're talking about the Inabel Textiles, am i right? I'm just so proud 😭 Agbiag ti Ilocos Norte ken Ilocos Sur!
Funny how people think street dancing is characterized by fast beats and energetic choreography. This is kannawidan and its purpose is to showcase a city or a municipality's culture and tradition. Parang ang unfair naman yung comment mo sa part ng mga taga Alilem at taga San Emilio who wholeheartedly performed traditional dances referenced from their origin? Hope you change that perception, Ian Paul Sumao. 😊

Kala ko street dancing ang labanan Hindi folk dance
