There's a flammable alcohol on there. It's the liquid that's burning, not him. You can try the same thing at home, but you just have to make sure to put the fire out before it uses up the liquid that it's burning.
its called fire fleshing. it does get hot but its only on your skins temporarily. think about how you can run your hand through a flame quickly without it burning
