This series covered the heroes and heroines of Ireland from 3,500 B.C. to 1,745 A.D., and tells of the events and activities that propelled them to legendary status. Legends of the Isles: Saint Patrick offers the story of the holy man, and how he came to be the patron saint of Ireland.
I've been to Ireland three times in my life with my Granny. Of all the beautiful and wonderful (and sad, tragic) things I saw, I gotta say RTE really made an impression on me. I would legit watch these documentaries instead of going to the pub (this was like 2009 before I could stream it here in AZ).

Great Video. I actually just finish reading his Confessions which is personal tradition of mine.

@@IrishEagIe Ya it's wild how much and yet so little it has. I love it and sadly we don't get in to it until uni and that's only if you get in to History.

St. Patrick, with the help of the Holy Spirit, brought true civilization to Ireland. While the majority of the world were kinslaying, shaking feather-bone totems and sacrificing people, the Irish were praying in monasteries and cultivating learning through writing.

I've always wanted to see Ireland Maureen O'Hara was from there and she was a favorite actress of mine and I've loved the stories and legends from that country and I wear green every time March rolls around

Blue is the colour of the high nobles in Ireland. It's possible.

If the Irish Druids had become so corrupt that they controlled the people they were replaced by the Catholic clergy who were guilty of the same vices.
Nobody fools God, whether he is a Christian clergyman or a lay - -person. !!!!!
