For my family it's XUV 700...
My mom loved it for looks .... I loved the power output n my father loved the feature ... My pop loved the feature offer..
Harrier XUV were the only competitors.. I wanted to go for Indian manufacturers...
Xuv 700 is a game changer. Anybody will fall in Love with it once they do a test drive.
For looks..harrier is better but performance and everything else..xuv is superior...i'd choose xuv all alday

The first ownership review were the owner is knowledgeable and realistic while rating his own car. The handling is absolutely a 6.5 and the ride is an 8. Makes his opinion seem very credible. It becomes very pointless when owners start rating their car a 9 for everything because they are still in the honeymoon period with their car !!
Wish the host would have asked him more about the service experience.

Factory fitted is better if buying a brand new car. Agar existing car hain toh aap koi reputed dealer se lagwaye.

Tata should make varicor 500 engine which generates 190 bhp and 500nm torque for harrier and safari
It won't meet bs6 emission norms
safari and harrier are 18-24 lakhs car not 35-40 lakhs car

How's Tatas after sales service?
Depends on where you are from. In most service centres of metropolitan cities there's no issue (I am from Bengaluru and I am satisfied with the services).

I have seen some terrifying videos of tata sales service .. they are nt at all concerned abt the customer and their problems
It depends on your luck. If you think you are lucky enough go and buy a Tata car. If you don't think that you're a lucky person then keep at least 10 km distance from any Tata dealership.
I have been using Tata harrier for past 6 months.this car lacks interior build quality.95 percent of interior cabin is made of cheap plastics.they done it for cost cutting.spending 26 lakhs for harrier top model is not a value for money upgrade.moreover the infotainment is one of the worst in the segment.tata have to improve a lot .lot of feauters are missing from harrier .Giving build quality on the outside doesn't mean it will justify the price.driving dynamics is not at all good when compared to other rivals like jeep compass.body roll is seen in larger,not comfortable for long journeys.
I cancel the booking today because here fuel price increasing like sky rocket.

This is called a real and good ownership review...I usually watch Hindi channels and this is the first time when I am watching an English channel and I felt that they scream, laugh so I have to close the video because if their stupidity..
Harrier and Safari are the only cars which don't have all the bad things (Engine and Gearbox) of Tata motors and have all the good things (Safety, Space, Looks, Ride/handling, and build quality) of Tata motors.
But still the customers of Tata cars will continue to be haunted by Tata dealers and pathetic and incompetent service centers..
Yeah pathetic build quality and lot of issues scams by dealers , company itself cheats customers without recalling safari for issues , noisy engine and high nvh in segment , safety 4 stars with danger to driver , space good , build quality not that great but still its awesome car

200hp on petrol for this size and weight will give you 4-5 kmpl. Makes no sense to have a Petrol variant especially when the price of Petrol is ridiculously high and mileage in Petrol is peanuts.
