That’s what a lot of the Haiden dick riders don’t understand. Hearing like “if he got a hole shot he would’ve won.” Bro probably not, he has the speed and natural talent, but he’s not the most consistent every lap, and he’s still gotta learn the pace fs. Unreal 3rd place, well deserved especially at a place like Daytona, he’s still learning
Haiden was 2 seconds slower in Qually and was consistently running .5 to .7 tenths slower per lap than Hunter in the race , so still a lot of pace to find . Haiden definitely could of ran faster laps in the race if he'd been closer to Max or Hunter that's for sure.
@@LarryLinton he doesnt like dropping fast laps in qualifying, he just wants to ride smooth and use it to adapt to the track more..he said that himself and thats smart thing to do, he drops some on the heats and main races and hes one of the fastest just not able to keep it for many laps.. hunter and max has been running this fast pace for years, its haidens 4th week running this pace and hes just 10-15 seconds behind the top 2 and 1 and hes not even giving it his all ... look at how sweaty and worked up max was, haiden was 10 seconds behind him and barely breathing hard ...he's been improving as such fast pace, no doubt his endurance will catch up faster than we would imagine, the top guys will be in trouble soon! kid is so consistent!

FYI, haiden's fastest lap was 1:14 and hunter and max's fastest lap was 1:14, once his body adapts to the pace, its over.
