As someone that works for a food bank you would be shocked at what the stores throw away. That there is several thousands of dollars worth of laundry soap. I'm glad you guys found them and got them.
Deborah- they aren't allowed to sell or donate it (stupid ik but liability issues) once it reaches its "best if used by" date! Doesn't mean you cant go dog it out and donate it! When my Daddy passed (he did for US Army what USDA is so - he KNEW how long stuff would b good for) but- he was a hoarder! We tossed 5 tons of food and donated another 3 tons to the food bank there! They were able to use 85% of it! We HAD to do something with it as Mama had to get rid of their home! We kept quite a bit too- probably yet another ton between all the family!
@@MiaEZ he was a doomsday prepper- we donated what we could what else do u want? Also- just so uk- (bcuz u shouldn't judge ppl) he donated to charity ALL the damn time- INCLUDING women's shelter and food banks
Definitely not. It’s probably 3 dollars a piece for no name, mini bottles. 28 bottles so at the most a hundred bucks. The dish soap, a dollar a piece at dollar store. Good find though if you’re into that kind of thing.
Deborah, I don't know where you get your value estimate for the laundry soap, but Dollar General sells that same soap for $6 to $8. At most it would be $208. Just saying. Maybe the whole haul was over a thousand dollars, which I would agree, because dog and cat food is not cheap.
I used to dumpster dive and the stuff I found was crazy! No joke a bag full of beautiful summer dresses with tags on them, bags full of shampoos, conditioner 's, and bath and body works sprays, Victoria Secret clothes all my size! Incredible finds! Then one time we found a dumpster and they literally just threw out tons of bags of chips, boxes of tasty cake cup cakes like tons of them and nothing was out dated!
Stevia is not an artificial sweetener. It is a natural and very healthy "sugar". It is quite expensive in my country and I wish I could find a whole box of a free one like you did :)))
Stevia is not the greatest sweetener. I recommend honey. Stevia can make one sick and mess up your blood sugar levels. It can cause chills, irritability, nervousness and other allergic reactions. All natural raw Honey is safer as a sweeter. Also Manuka honey is even better and doesn’t effect diabetics.
What a great haul. That much laundry detergent and dish soap is wonderful. Nice you got some things to donate also. Love watching you all and how much you enjoy doing this and helping others as well. Definitely agree there is no way you can underestimate what might be in the dumpster. Sad you have to say something about what you feed your dogs I understand what the people are saying but totally get what you have done and how well your dogs tolerate mixing of the dog foods. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Major soap haul! That’s gold right there, and you just put it up and not have to worry about buying more for a long time. I think when people make certain comments they do so out of concern but not always in a diplomatic way. Anyone can see your dogs are healthy, have regular vet appointments and loved beyond measure. They are absolutely gorgeous dogs! You have to try the corned beef hash! Put it in a pan and cook it up (be careful of “popping” because of fat content) and serve with fried eggs on top. To die for! I am always so happy when generous people have good karma come back to them. God Bless You!
Yes I agree these companies should be fined for this kind of stuff, so many people can't afford Landry detergent and soap, just put it out in front of the store so the poor people can pick it up, we live in a country of waste , it's such ashame 😭

This is why they lock dumpsters and you can also get in trouble with the law for dumpster diving
Your video popped into my feed tonight. What a haul!!! If the dumpsters here had sliding doors I’d still go diving. I’m getting to old to get over the top any more. It’s a shame what gets tossed out.
You really should wear gloves when digging. You never know what will cut or burn.
Oh my gosh I'm so excited for y'all about the dog food and Dish washing liquid.
That dish soap and detergent is from dollar tree its cheap and doesn't work well
