That can be a loaded question that will vary by manufacturer, and even different trailer sizes. Generally speaking, telescopic will be the most efficient at nearly 100% efficiency. It's pointed vertical, so there is no re-directing force, it's all the way to the front so it has optimal leverage, it's geared properly so it is always in the proper 'gear', and it is gravity down which saves a tiny bit of battery on the downward stroke. Telescopic, because of it's efficiency, can generally operate at a much lower operating pressure, making it easier on the pump, frame, and seals. Because of it's efficiency, it's generally used in larger scale application, like dump trucks. Scissor is a great setup, and the most common 'upgraded' hoist as many manufacturers don't offer telescopic. Scissor has a mechanical advantage over dual ram, and generally mounts around the front of the fender, whereas a dual ram mounts at the midpoint of the fender, gaining about 3' of leverage. A scissor is a very stable lift, and would be second most common. Dual ram is generally the cheapest and often most common, and it does a good job of doing the job just fine and at a (generally speaking) slightly cheaper price point.
We have a few other video's that do just that. It doesn't have all 3 side by side though...the logistics of that would be difficult to pull off. All 3 do what they are designed to do, they just go about it differently.
That would really depend on the size/GVW. Here is a link to current in stock telescopic hoist units: www.bestchoicetrailers.com/all-inventory/dump-trailers/telescopic-hoist?order=2
All current pricing and specs are on our website, www.bestchoicetrailers.com Roughly a scissor is $300 more than the standard hoist, which on a 7' wide is a dual ram.
This guy knows how to do a review!!! 💪💪
Thanks Rafael
i realize it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch new series online ?
@Angel Korbyn flixportal =)
@Kaiser Princeton thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!
@Angel Korbyn no problem :)
FINALLY - a real explanation. Thank you!
Awesome demonstration I will own one of those trailer soon
Where can I buy that telescope hoist?
Address, name of that hoist,site
So why not lower the telescopic dump trailer?
Not sure as to the question.
So what’s the strongest dumping mechanism, from strongest to weakest please

Would be interesting to see how they compare when loaded. Why dump an empty trailer?

How much is the model with the telescopic lift? Thank you in advance

How far down from the top should the fluid be, thanks, Bert
With the bed in the down position most reservoirs have a line about 1/4 of the way from the top.
How much is a 12 ft sell for?
Price on the scissor lift dump?

Super
180 degree angle... not 90 LOL...
180 from original position, but 90 from side of trailer. Po-tay-tow, po-tah-tow
