The entrance to the new housing was the location opposite the Red Bear pub on the corner of the junction. When the bike park in front of the cafe was full, you'd park in the pub car park opposite. We would frequent Squires in the mid 70's then on the way home call in to the New Inn for a pint (which is now Squires). The landlord would allow us to drink in his pub only if we parked our bikes in a barn at the back of the pub so not to put the usual clientele off coming in. How priorities have changed.

Thanks mate, just needs someone to stand in the middle of the crowd and shout “My round!” That’ll get them talking 😂😂

I am thankful that we ride on the right side of the road, we take the hand of the left side and two fingers down towards the road. I would hardly see a head nod, but an arm moving, I can see that!

I’ve seen a couple of those around squires… it means they have more stories than most 😂

Remaking a old video new. I enjoy going and looking back at my old videos. I can tell you what I learned on each video. I am a little stale on new stuff I learn as it just takes so many hours to edit and when people only watch 30 percent , they will miss 70 percent of what I spent time on editing. Sorry, is that a rant? Anyways, great day out!

I know exactly what you mean. Ride for miles and put all the effort into a stunning video and they complain at you for a spelling mistake 😂😂

As for spelling mistakes, I made my video to refer people to that I am dyslexic and it all looks good to me. My 2nd ex wife was silently correcting my language all the time. She also found it humorous to ask me how to spell things or try to remember a number. I was never offended or cared to much as I was diagnosed when I was 17. So I have had enough time to build confidence with my weaknesses and then move on quickly. I think they call that thick skin. But until we start getting paid for doing this crazy hobby, I will make a lot of mistakes. Still can't spell uncle or is it unkle, who knows? Sure some one will correct me and I will forget again! 😂

So if you had ever noticed, I was making a logo for my shed happens videos and made a sticker for it to hand out. I made the logo and left out the e in happens. So if you look the video up and ever see the logo, it is shed happns. I noticed it prior to having it printed but I felt like the over sight fit me. So mistakes can turn out positive! Or at least that's what I tell myself

I have to disagree with you about people not talking to you , I have made new friendships and have recently bumped into a guy I was in the same class at high school 47 years ago , if you like to just chill or engage in conversation with someone it's the place to be ...that's been my experience .

That’s cool mate, I can’t say it never happens, just less likely in squires than some of the smaller places. For example I went to the monkey pot cafe for the first time and within an hour someone was buying me a drink and I left with three new contacts on my phone😂😂
