I Love this masterpiece. I was listening to this in Germany back in 1988 when i served in the Army. I played this on cassette tape and it was kinda new to the scene. I played this song 🎵 and anyone listening to it began reminiscence and be in a whole different zone. This song will.take you places.❤

With all due respect to the great saxophonist, GH has always been my favorite. Gone too soon my friend.

This is absolutely sublime, cerebral. It's great to mellow out to.

Lol I made the comment that I renamed this track "hypnotic" lol. I could really relax when playing this.

He had a lot of Great Songs He Performed on his Soprono Sax, but by far I go into a Lovely Perpetual Daydream listening to this one! There are many Saxophonists out there, and everyone has (or had) their OWN particular style and niche, and I have never catagorized them. They are unique in each one's own way.

Taking nothing away from Kenny G but George Howard had superior musicianship! I've seen both live and it wasn't even close in my opinion!!!

I hate that this album is still out of print. I wish that UMG would go ahead and reissue the rights and release it to all major platforms for download

Isn't it amazing how many albums G. Howard released? Sometimes I think artists do this because they know they're only gonna be with us for a little while. It's very deep.

    • @dontaviouschandler3961

@@michaelunity7796 it is so amazing. Half of these albums he released I didn't even know he had so many. For many years I just went by the songs played on the radio or some of the singles or cassette tapes that my parents had which pretty much kept my memory of his whole catalog intact. Like the title of his song off the love and understanding album of his (1991) he was "only here for a minute"

@@dontaviouschandler3961 It bothers me that we don't have the smooth jazz radio stations. In my opinion the stations help promote the artist than the concerts brought people like you and i put to mingle. It was a great way of meeting people you had something in common with. If you were single it was a great way to meet a classy person. Some of my friends met their wives this way.
