As someone else has pointed out, the big thing making all the noises is called SirenHead. It was created by artist Trevor Henderson, which if you haven't, go check out his amazing artwork!

You thought those was creepy you should see the Whispering Hills version of a Rad Scorpion, actually maybe not as it's pretty much nightmare fuel.
Ah also, Sirenhead monsters are pretty much the Deathclaws of the game as they take a lot of ammo to take down, you can't win at melee against them really just like a death claw unless your OP on that skill and to add to that pain, Sirenheads can spawn in buddies to join in the fight even when they are defeated.
Worst of all, always just like boss monsters after every defeat, it causes the Siren Nightmare Mode to kick in, AKA Horde Night which you basically just try to find a secure location and survive.
Highly recommend you have or make a strong melee or powerful long range with less reload time and fast fire rate with lot of ammo just to last against the many horrors that will spawn in around you when that time comes.
Basically just avoid Sirenheads and boss like monsters till your better equip to deal with both battle and aftermath.
Anyway, i learn 2 things when playing Whispering Hills is, Never be out or away from a strong turret base unprepared for both Horde Night or When it Rains.
Oh WH also has custom background music, dont miss out on that ;) Your journey just started
Your Flashlight is being affected by another mod, maybe other flashlight mods, mining helmet mods, camping mods that you have?

That shadow creature near the end just watching you get beat up is probably thinking “I wonder if this is a good time to ask for some caps for jet”

Pretty spooky mod, I'm currently playing america rising 2 with this overhaul and things can get chaotic pretty quickly

this is funny, I just finished playing the main quest for whispering hill the other day and this video pops up in my recommendations lol
no way! how long is the main quest roughly and is it good?
@@NameIsDamz from what I've seen there's four episodes and each one is like 2/3 hour. the story is pretty good but sometimes the quests can be little frustrating because things aren't marked so you can easily miss keys or get turned around. but over all it's fun and very immersive!

I not sure this exact fog! But I have found a few weather mods that do make it look more like a horror game :)
