I bought this game a long time ago and it really surprised me with how much detail and content there is packed into it. I also made a massive list of feedback and posted it on the discussion boards on steam and the devs acted on almost all of it within a week. This game deserve to blow up!
This game has a lot of things I've always wanted to see in a RPG game! The religion system looks interesting, monsters taking over areas if you don't clear them, developing traits as you do things CK style, the developer is a hardcore gamer for sure. The game looks very rough but I'll get it and hope the visuals get better in the future. Thanks Splat!
I stole Griffin's egg, it hunted me, I avoided it, griffin moved to the bear quest location in the first village, npc gives quest to kill it, I feel underleveled so I didnt accept it, griffin destroys the village after a couple of weeks.
It is actually pretty easy to dodge the griffin's attacks. Just make small side steps as he swoops at you. Takes a long time but you can kill it much earlier than other high level enemies.
Slammed through the end of this game, hope there are multiple endings later on. Haven't play since this update, but I would come back to this game again if enough content comes in.
Have had this on my wishlist for ages but decided to pick it up now (definitely helps that it and the dlc are on sale). I didn't realize it had actual changes to the world based on your choices, or even delaying doing quests, very much up my alley.
Got to say, I really like to see Slavic Folklore in RPGs. That rich alternative world to standard Tolkien-ish fantasy. Like indie gem Thea/Thea 2, or mainstream Witcher,. Fascinating stuff.

I'll admit that I almost clicked out when I saw the graphics, but from a gameplay standpoint this looks *exactly* like what I want from a Diablo-esque RPG. Thanks Splat, bought and downloading now!

I'm assuming that it's a bad day to be someone's brother whose freedom from "the black mines" could be purchased for 5000 coins after our fearless protagonist discovered exactly that sum sitting apparently un-exchanged.
Yeah I picked this one up too. I like it. The art style is good and it reminds me of the better RPGs I grew up with. And it has features I've never seen before. Really interesting title. I'm very happy with it. I recommend it.
This looks a lot like grim dawn, probably my favorite arpg, a new expansion is dropping soon, might be worth doing a review of that game 👍 love your stuff splattercat
Another Indie Game that I played which is pretty fun is Black Skylands. I know you have been looking for a few. Recommended a few others yesterday that have some demos on your other upload if you want to find a few extras to check out Splat.

I appreciate more Slavic mythology being easier to access to the West. if I ever got inked, I would want something from that as homage to my ancestry. I feel like Poland (and others) now being a generation removed from Russian communist influence means the world is seeing more of the cultures over there. I have also come to this conclusion due to the much larger amount of translated research about history from the area, too. From my own studies, there is a lot more info about say, what went on over there in WWII, than an English speaker could find 10, 15 years ago. Most people in the US don't even know that Russia invaded Poland in 1939 along with the Germans. There is so much more data available now, but I love the Slavic mythology stuff the most. Witcher was an outlier as far as popular games that put that mythology front and center. Wanna say one of the total war games had a bit of it too. Teutonic crusades campaign? Game here looks cool. Not my kind of thing but I am glad it exists.
I know you say that death in this game is quite a set back, and that you likely already invested a lot into your current character prior to the recording, but am still a tad disappointed not to see how exactly the death mechanic works. Loke how much do you actually lose upon death (aside from gear and such obviously, though could imagine possible corpse run after finding a new body), and how much actually gets carried over? Does the level and build stay the same, reset back to level 1 or respec, or is it based on the new character you posses? Like you are currently playing a Paladin like character, but the next character you posses might have a predefined build akin to a rogue or mage?
How is movement in this game with M&KB? Is it only click-to-move? Can I bind something to the Force Move key and have it follow the mouse cursor? Does it have WASD movement like POE2?
Some of the concepts remind me of Soldak games (Din, Drox Operatives, et al), though this seems a bit less chaotic and more immersive. Might be worth a try, because I do love the theory behind Soldak's titles, just not the presentation.

Crusader Kings
I just stumbled upon this game today, about 25 pages down in the sales. I gave it a chance and after an hour, I bought the expansion.
I stole a griffin’s egg and it proceeded to Liam Neeson me for the rest of the game.
