Gotta go back to normal overall progression next year. 99s day 1 was a fun experiment but it really takes away from the team building that we all love. Plus having every pitcher throwing 104mph all year long sucked
I think they're kind of killing the player base, I agree the chase pack cards should be the best in the game, but they have to find a way to either make the cards more obtainable in packs or allow us to get them in some other way. Elly's card is still 550k which is ridiculous if you think about it. They want us to complete programs and do the things they put in the game but give us mediocre 97's that will never see anyone's line up at this point in the year outside of completing their challenges and PXP missions.
Facts i think everything would even out if they let us sell the program rewards but that no sell is whats killing me. I dont offline grind unless its for players like belli n ohtani, thats the only time i sorta grinded. I only play rs ,br and sometimes events just to warm up a bit
Dude, I saved up 900k stubs (took me months) and the second that I saw they dropped a chase pack Trout I grabbed him immediately. I know I overpaid, but idgaf. Trout’s swing is butter. I average over .500 w/ his WBC card online. In his debut game, he hit 3 HRs and went 4/4 with 7 RBIs. Dude is stacked. I’m hype af to have this card 🔥🔥🔥
I think the seasons thing is a good concept but I think they are missing the mark. Having the best 99’s behind a paywall in packs isn’t good. Also having to grind to get some ehhh 97’s and play HOURS for 99’s and by the time you get them they’ve put other 99’s in the game that are better. Just my thoughts.

SDS got lazy. This Trout is SLIGHTLY better than WBC Trout (not worth the 800k stubs it's selling for) just like Extreme Griffey was slightly better than Charisma Griffey. To me, it's a slap in the face, especially this late in the year and other games coming out trying to make everyone grind this much.
The Brewers have yet to have a 99 since season 1 and the Royals have yet see a single 99 this year. (I got you Royals fans) On the Bright Side, Ryan Braun finally got a card that is useable.
Kooks is there a way to fix this so I have 97 trout set 3 all star card and Nolan Arenado 97 set 3 at third but I can only play trout and not both of them
Im gonna buy trout after roster update, i am playing excited to add votto as my dh against righties as im a lifetime reds fan this set isnt exciting as a whole but my investments have me in position to be at least 10 mill even if it goes min well i probably got sround 5 to 7 mill all locked in investments next uodate so ill be able to buy some good cards to keep it fun
I'll do affinity, but my luck in Chase Packs is atrocious... didn't get Elly or DeGrom... so I don't have high hopes for getting Trout... This new season is kind of bad and redundant. I grade it as an L for sure
This Trout 99 is SDS’s way of subtlety saying….they want more Angel in the Outfield, this year! There has to be some kind of Angel in the Outfield content with this new Trout!
Personally not excited or motivated to play season 4 at all. The structure of the seasons just need a lot of work. It’s a way too offline heavy, monotonous grind for cards that aren’t really worthwhile or exciting (some even embarrassingly bad and unusable) until you can collect a ton of them for the actual desirable cards. I think if they actually put effort into Captains cards like they said they would, that would give some life to the game but it just seems to be all about collection grind. Was feeling burnt out and bored halfway through last season and seeing they changed nothing about the structure of this season and even dropped multiple repeat 99s. Yea not too enticed lol

I think 97s in TA at this point is awful. No one will use those cards on their team. So we're still seeing all the 99s on everyone's team. If the TA cards were better, we'd have alot of team diversity.
It's just sad that once again the card everyone is gonna want is a chase card that unless you're super lucky or gonna spend $300 you probably won't get being an average player.
I’m neither super lucky or rich enough to spend hundreds on a card… but I still was able to buy chase pack Trout. I’ve been saving all my stubs for months waiting for a moment like this one. It is possible, you just have to grind, save your stubs, and wait for a card you really love to come out.
@@rhyno86gaming25 same, but I sold Elly right after buying him. There’s a glitch where his dreads cause the game to get super choppy and laggy. I couldn’t even see the ball out of the pitcher’s hand. I was pissed, but now I’m glad I sold him lol

Getting stubs is so easy I barely play the game I just invest in golds then they go diamond and I get a easy million stubs
