Lovely! Stunning colors and paper selection with great tips, especially the one about making sure you have a good night's sleep before attempting! I made one of these last summer for my niece's 10th birthday. You are right, these are only for very special occasions/people!
@@louisehaydu7884 Thank you!! I think I'd want to make it with double sided pattern card if I ever made it again!!! Otherwise it might go into the "waterfall cards" category - never to be made ever again!! 😂😂☃️🎄🎁🎅
Thank you for sharing this unique card. I love a good kinetic card and looking forward to trying it. I am sure that I will be rewatching and rewatching your great tips and tricks with this one! Thanks for all you do and Merry Christmas.
This is such a fun card and the more you make them the easier they get. I've got a Dutch version of the tutorial and I think it's a Stampin' Up design if I remember correctly. Just lay the pieces of white cardstock with the slits in the right direction and in the right order in front of you and make a pencil mark where the halves of the changing panels need to go. Once you know you won't forget anymore. When I'm on a roll I can churn out a good number of these cards very quickly because they all go the same way. I can do them assembly line style. They're good for birthdays and jubilees as well as Christmas and New Year. Children are especially enthusiastic because of the Interactive part. My grandchildren can't stop swivelling the numbers because I use numbers on the changing panels. But a hidden message like on your card is lovely too.
@@DutchJoan Thank you! That sounds fabulous! Is there a tutorial for that one? I've seen three different people make it, but I think they were all the same size card. 😊❤️☃️🎄🎁🎅
@@icedimages I tried to put a link here, but it disappeared. It's the 'Interactieve wisselkaart voor de Feel good Stampin Videohop' by 'Stampinclubnederland - Yvonne Neefjes'. Published on 21 december 2023. At 11:35 you can see how to lay down the pieces and where to glue the halves of the changing panels. The measurements are slightly different from yours but they are easily adjusted. The whole point is to make an image change slightly by creating 2 squares (or rectangles depending on your measurements) and cutting them in half. In the videos they use numbers, but you can also use images. Like Joseph and Mary on the road to Bethlehem and them with Jesus in the manger. Or a closed bottle and an open one pouring bubbles. Things that are close together but signal a transition.
Love your card tutorials and the way you admit to your mistakes and then show us how to avoid making the same ones. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from New Zealand. Looking forward to seeing your tutorials next year. 🎅🎄
Love an interactive card. I think it will be a birthday card when I give it a go.
