Awesome Just unbelievable thank you for that. ✌🏼 I am sure Getty and Alex and RIP. Neil would be impressed I’ve been a rush fan my whole life as a Canadian citizen my whole life honoured that you can pull off probably the one of the most difficult songs ever.🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Had the good fortune to see Moving Pictures in London at Islington’s Academy. Totally brilliant. I’m a professional drummer , inspired to do so by Neil Peart , have studied and worked out three Rush tunes over the years : Camera eye, Tom Sawyer & YYZ. Jamie has done an amazing job , kudos and respect, sure the professor would approve. Also great to see and hear these tunes close up and in a smal venue ( compared to venues played by Rush towards end of their career) . Rest of band are also just as good , I shut my eyes and it was Rush. Thanks for your hard work . Look forward to the next time . 🙏.
Note for note, I know I used to play XANADU with my kid brother, excllent cover and great band but Jamie Dunleavey on drums and percussion is astonishing. Get her a full kit which Neil Peart had and let her loose on that.. She's awesome! Guitarist and Bassist are good too! Excellent!
That was fun!!! I loved the way you handled the technical difficulty! Great professionalism. It was very refreshing to see the female behind the drum kit instead of the microphone, as the only Rush tributes I've seen that include a female is the vocalist position...due to Geddy's nigh-impossible vocal range. Excellent job from a fellow Tributeer!
Great job!! It's awesome to see a Rush cover band with a female drummer!! Every Rush cover band that I've seen that has a woman in it she's always the vocalist. It would be really cool to have an all female Rush cover band!! That would be so ironic, given the long standing belief that women don't like Rush. Last note..... How is Glasgow?? The recent election here in USA has me disgusted. The future here is grim.......
Epiphone makes a double-neck mirroring the Gibson he's playing for a fraction of the cost - I've seen them for around $1700, which seemed like a pile of money at the time. Two standard series Martins later, this price tag isn't so daunting. Trouble is, how do you justify a purchase like that for 1 song??? Unless that song is like 4 regular songs all strung together...
A “chickenbacker” haha…. Double necks are cool and all. But I learned real quickly from owning an Epiphone 1275 that unless you have a real use for one, they’re not even worth it. They’re a maintenance nightmare from hell. String changes take forever to do. And a setup will cost you 3 to 4 times more than any other guitar Never forget that Lerxst used his 1275 for one song, and Geddy the 4080 / for one the 4080 / 6 for one… and that was it
@@Eoindepaor1649 no, but it would be cool!! I bought a Chinese copy of the 90th anniversary 4005 bass. Changed a few chrome pieces, and the bridge. After leveling the frets, it plays pretty good!
@@TisTheDamnStickSeason That purely was NOT mysogyny...it was more a case of "too soon?". NO, not too soon...frikking funny, and I'm not even cynical. The laugh just came right out when I read that. @redSectorA
I've just come back tonight from seeing them, and yes she is incredible and yes your a dick if you can't see this your a mysoginist, much love from Scotland xx
As if that's how it sounds live. People actually pay to go see this? That bass player guy is obnoxious. In the real world we call that Identity Theft. That guy is no way even close to Geddy Lee. It's one thing to get your joy from playing Rush songs. But once you start dressing and acting like them, then it gets creepy. Grow up.

Most Excellent!!! lol
Seriously though, really good performance and one the best Rush songs!

Bravo,Bravo. 👏👏
Solid rendition
That bass tone is sick nasty!

Note for note? Don't know what version of the solo this is but the wah and straying off ruined it
Nowhere near note for note. Drums a mile off.
🥰😍🤩awesome-- as a Canadian growing up-- this was it-- glad you can take a bit of Canada to the old country!!!
Best cover of a rush song ive ever heard " these guys must of studied a lot of rush 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Someone from London told me about you guys last year. Great job. Keep doing what you're doing!
So much talent. Missed the drumstick toss at 5:38 :)
This is really good!!!
Used to cover loads of Rush Tracks from most albums up to Moving Picture but I always loved "A Farewell to Kings" myself.
That was fun!!! I loved the way you handled the technical difficulty! Great professionalism.

There is another Rush cover band, I forgot their name, but the male drummer is also the singer. He also does Geddy well.
Ok great job by you. Bloody brilliant.
Awesome Job... Too sing, play bass guitar and work the Keyboards and Taurus pedals... That is talent.
Just like Geddy!
Holy CRAP!!!! Friggin' awesome, mates!!
Nice, but check out the Rush Tribute Project.
This just popped on my feed after a year ago and man, great job y'all!
GREAT Cover
Now that was awesome! That dinner was totally on point! I thought that was an older Geddy too!!!
@@davesdrum “dinner” absolutely! She loves her grub. Lol.

Had the privledge of seeing this group playing Exit Stage left@ " The Booking Room" Dover just recently. Simply superb.
Yes, me too. They were very good indeed
Brilliant! 🎉❤🇨🇦
Wow! BRAVO!!! Geddy, is that really you??? Haha! Spot on man! :)
Thumbs Up - amazing how the band dealt with that mic outage... class!
How odd. I happen to drop in to this exactly one year after the event. Brilliant cover.
Outstanding tribute! And well wishes from a Sutherlin from across the big pond in Indiana, USA.
Saw these guys last week in York, they were amazing, I only managed to see Rush 3 times but this is definitely the closest you'll get now
Excellent 👍!!

Excellent job!! The boys would be proud!! RIP Professor 🥁
I thought that was really Geddy Lee at first…
Right? When did Geddy grow grey? 😆
Even has the right shoes!
Me too LOL

👏👏👏🇨🇦🇨🇦👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great job....but wheres the wood blocks?
Jamie's kit is growing every week! They're coming mate.
Fantastic! I never thought a female could pull these drums off! Absolutely unbelievable
Saw these guys last week in the wrecking ball in hull. Absolute brilliant.

Nice job. Now do Anthem
Is he playing a double neck "Chickenbacker"?? Guess I can't blame him. The real ones are very expensive,if you can even find one.

I really couldn’t justify 14k for a real one for the sake of 9 minutes…
😂😂

Geddy's brother 😂
excellent cover of a great song, poor video sound tho, the 12 string sounded like a toy.
Brilliant but the guitar is too far down in the mix.
Who died and made her Neil Peart? Oh!

I think it's ok it does lack the vocal power and energy of rush
