Couldn't agree more on your comment abt "key choreos". Older kpop songs have their own unique choreo that is weird yet so good that the public remembers it. On variety shows, if you play these older songs, everyone knows that specific choreo and dances to it.
Yeah, Super Junior’s choreo was basically built on that idea, which seems wild in the current era. SM wanted their key moves to be memorable and simple enough for normal people to do. 😆
This song was recorded in 2008 and was supposed to be the title track instead of Gee that's why their outfit in this MV is similar to the outfits they wear in Gee MV (colored jeans and white shirts with blue jeans). The song was released in 2012 and included on IGAB album.

This was a remake of Duffy's Mercy and this was filmed back in 2009's and was supposed to be released back then but they went with Gee. They released this in 2012 along with I Got A Boy and the concept was like a travel back in time or something like that.

i heard it's not a remake. sm and duffy both bought the rights to the song or demo, so sm had this in the vault lol duffy released his first; sm wanted this song as their title track but can't release it because of legal issues or something like that.
@@againstallauds5611 duffy is the writer for the song. It's unclear whether sm bought it prior to her releasing it or after as a remake.
I think Duffy might have given it to SM but when it became a commercial hit, he took it back therefore SM couldn't release it. The trajectory of their career would've been different if this song went through the first time.
This was supposed to be released in 2008 and they delayed it due to technicalities so they rushed Gee and maybe it was a blessing in disguise

Dancing queen was supposed to be their comeback in 2008 but delayed it to 2009 and the song changes to GEE. Some photos of dancing queen leaked back then. They also used some of the pre photos here to GEE. This video is recorded year 2008. That is why they cameback from 2013 to 2008.
