The people laughed in dine and wine. Merry was the atmosphere of the festival. The musicians strumming the drunken high as the drums beat down the joyful rhythm. In the center of the stage, the dancing fire maiden blazed like a fiery flower. Her movements intense, vivid and passionate. A dance passed down from ancestors, celebrating the birth of fire and of life. The singer sang, the stringed instrument cried, the choir echoed and the dancers the wings under the crescent moon. Many stories were passed down during this momentous event, tales of old heroes and chiefs of yore. Adventures beyond the known lands to explore and respond to the call of the gods. This tradition of the fire honored all those tales; the last vestige, the tribal inheritance: Te Kanikani Ahi.

I went ahead and bought the digital album off Bandcamp to support you, and I wish for future support to come your way as well soon! Happy Holiday season and, in the meantime, here's an excerpt from my draft pertaining to a performance scene (because I feel like sharing): ((For context, I must make readers aware that the performers in this excerpt are male teens dressed as females to garner the male gaze. No, none of the sailors watching know the dancers are feigning ladyhood. This is sfw to read and is also third-person omniscient POV.)) Alcides rolled his shoulders back in turns as he stroked the floor with his bare feet on each forward step toward the armored man, lifting his arms into an outstretched stance in languid movements. But when he drew close enough to make out the gawking man’s face in better detail, Alcides bent down and swung his leg around so his body was forced to turn. He pulled inward right after, running his hands up his legs and torso as he stood. The golden prodigy glanced back at the verdant-eyed man and smirked behind his veil before painting the floor again with his feet on his return to his previous position. The six back-up dancers ran around Alcides in a mirroring “x” formation as he departed, effectively blocking the verdant-eyed man’s view. Xeno and Kleitos left a couple of the men mesmerized with their taunts as they made their way back to setup the next formation. The other dancers drew back in to circle around Alcides with Xeno and Kleitos and lined up behind him to lift him into the air, each dancer coming in to aid in spinning him around. The visiting traders cheered as Alcides was spun around, and the toubeleki player shifted his tempo. The performers bent at varying angles to lower their leader so he could touch down in one fluid motion, followed by graceful leaps forward. Alcides swayed his hips and slid his hands over the length of his body, arms crossing one another after the first few bounds. Approaching his target without any flavor wouldn’t win him any favor, so he dragged the short walk on with his slow movements, popping his hips whenever the sharp notes hit. Verdant eyes watched each thrust and searching touches as the “princess” more-or-less headed straight to him again, but this time with a mysterious fervor. This prince paid no mind to the other dancers building symmetries along the sides of the aisle, smirking as their leader approached him. He was curious of whether this lead dancer was trying to present restraint with the way she draped her arms about herself, keeping him on his toes. If only he could see beyond the veiled himation she wore, the red-painted lips and sharp jawline the few features he could make out.

The woman in black slowly began to move in time with the song. A song that echoed a heritage almost lost to darkness. The fire behind her billowed like a rose opening its first bloom. Here, she could dance to the ancient drums and cymbals of her people unhindered. Her eight sisters were dressed in white with one arm raised in the air and the other arm resting behind them. They celebrated life not death. Her people were explorers, warriors as well as unsung heroes. What did a fae know of a race that weathered so much loss? A people that traversed the stars long before his kind could ever dream of making ships? Nothing. Closing her eyes, she allowed the song to flow into her heart, her soul and her mind. Clutching the iron fans in her grasp, she began twirling them intermittently. She picked up speed as the song crescendoed. She whirled and bowed like the whistling wind that rushed over the desert at night under the cold stars. So swiftly did the iron fans dance in her hands it was as if she carried twin suns. In this moment, she at last became one with the melody. She did not smile but felt a peace to once more openly cling to her heritage once again.

@dutonic thank you! I'm always excited to hear that someone is actually excited about my stuff 🤣🙏🏼🖤
@DevelSullivan Great work! May I know the name of the song around 3:00 onwards?
Also for around 16:00.
@@Katragon Thank you so much! 🖤🙏🏼 The names of the songs are seen above the dancers. The first one you ask is "Ascent" and the other "Memorie" 😊💫
@@DevelSullivan Thank you for letting me know! Have you released the "Ascent" track as a standalone somewhere too? I can only find "Memories".
@Katragon Echoes, Demons, Memories and Fjorgyn are singles. The rest is just part of the album 😊
Some of these songs sound like the ost from A Plagues Tale
Fuck. This is jammin'

An amazing album! How can I get permission to use this music for youtube videos?
Thank you! I'm flattered! Well we can talk about it. What channel and what kind of videos? 😊
@@DevelSullivan We are making a multiplayer mod for Skyrim in open source and want to make a review video for the project. Your music is very suitable for the spirit that we are trying to convey in the game 😊
@Po_Suti_Vkusno alright. Sounds cool. Feel free to leave a link here as well :)
@@DevelSullivan Oh, thank you so much, I'm so happy to be in touch with you. Wait for the link :)
@Po_Suti_Vkusno no problem! And I really appreciate you asking first 😊
