I don't understand how a sports commentator can be undecided / undetermined on the quality of player someone is. The FILM is out there, watch it. Once you've watched it, objectively evaluate the execution/performance of the fundamentals of the position. You can recognize Warren Sapp is a phenomenal Dlineman from his get-off, hand-placement, agility, power and quickness - you don't need to see the result of a play or his stats to KNOW what you're dealing with. THIS is where Shedeur fails miserably on the smell test.
Deion thinks that he's going to be coaching one of the teams with a top 4 pick, and that's why he's saying what he's saying. The problem is his quarterback son is too small and he's going to run Travis Hunter into the ground and that kid will be injury riddled by the time this next season is over.

There are plenty of GMs/owners who know this and will select the guy even if they want another player just to keep Deion and the Wokies happy. I don't know what planet Deion was on when he was drafted; there were plenty of black people in authority positions in the 80s - politics, police chiefs, businesses, media. Deion is stuck on the race narrative. It rarely goes well when players have "backstage" parents who want to dictate the what/where/who of their son's pro career. Sidenote: Those cities Deion speaks of that are run mostly by black politicians are often s-holes and have deteriorated as the political, school admin, and other power positions have gotten blacker. Sad fact but true.

Had nothing to do with the offensive line. Coaches picked up what Deion had his son doing. The game plan was to settle for sacks, than throw for incompletions. Sacks don't count against your attempts/completions. Deion was looking fir his son to gain recognition via his stats; not based on the performance on the field.

Against Stanford he did play bad but it was his first game back his injury so he probably wasnt all there. If you watch his talent level, I just don't see how any gm wouldn't draft him first round. Shedeur I wouldn't pick and personally I don't think he's an NFL level QB. He's honestly below average for college.
Both of them are going first round next season. Mel Kiper is already high on both of them next year so that definitely means they will be drafted pretty early.

Americans today believe they are entitled. Players, coaches, fathers. The NFL is an American institution. It is way bigger than any player. Every player in the NFL can be replaced by the teams fairly easily without missing a beat. Owners do not want to be told by players who they will play for and how much they will be paid. Owners do not have to agree to the demands. They can pass and draft someone else. I have no idea if Shedeur Sanders will have a 10 year career in the NFL, but I am pretty sure the Buffalo Bills will survive and prosper for the next ten years despite Sanders not wanting to play there.

Deion Sanders did his sons a disservice by being their coach for so long, in my humble opinion. He should have “released” both his boys, “pushed them out of dad’s nest”, and let them “fly” and develop under someone else’s tulage. The Colorado Buffalo football team performed poorly in 2023 and winning games is better than “looking good”? Regardless, his boys are already richer than 99.999% of us! Hopefully they can save and invest most of their loot?
