Oh!! I totally love the way you think & talk & the stuff you make!!
You're so kind, thank you so much!!
Vinegar slander! No joke though it's so good for cleaning moldy waterbottles and as fabric softener. White vinegar softens and brightens clothes without leaving any kind of residue and without microplastics
Love how your experimenting helps me learn and opens up possibiliries for me
OK, you missed a VERY good ha ha moment when you said you were going to take your stick and your pattern and be on your way. Take your stick and pattern and beat it! LOL
keepthe projects and stories coming please ilove them
I’ve been enjoying your videos immensely, and am amazed by your creativity. So by all means, keep making videos as a reason to work on interesting projects, glad to be part of the excuse for it!
You're so kind, thank you!!
I love the design and I'm good with the tapered cup - even if that wasn't your original intent.
Thanks! It definitely started seeming more okay the longer I looked at it.
Eucalytus also is great for dyeing. You may look at the book Ecocolour by India Flint. I tried avocado and got a pinkish beige, onions give a yellowish beige, walnut a nice brown (rather grey brown than red brown), beetroots a nice pink and tea a kind of light gold beige
AWESOME !!! Fun video and piece ;) Looking forward to what you come with next ;) Congratulations on reaching 40k subscribers ;D Thanks for sharing ;D
Thanks, I'm honestly flabbergasted to have reached that high a number!
I would 100% buy one of these if you ever take orders!!!
Aw thank you! I think I'd have to do a lot of adjusting to the pattern before trying to sell one.
@@gettheetothestitchery hey idk , do u have a business?
When I tried coffee (and tea and onion and beet) dyeing, I found that I had to use my husband's fresh brewed (extra strong) coffee. I also put the coffee on a low burner to keep it hot while I soaked the towel I was dyeing. I don't recall how long. Maybe an hour? Also, I would guess the cord has to be 100% natural (eg cotton, jute) in order to be dyed. I know that's true for yarns.
Yeah I definitely think the 100% natural thing (or rather lack of in the cord I used) plays a big part... but I hadn't thought of keeping the coffee warm while dyeing, and I bet that makes a big difference!
😊
Time is an illusion
You must be in the hundreds, if not thousands, of days not wearing pants (except for pictures for videos)!
