Don't be too harsh on this guy, whoever he is. No one is very good when they first start flying. I'm really looking forward to future videos of this guy. I think with some time and practice he'll be an ok pilot. Maybe even average.
Such fantastic airplanes in real life.. Then Flex goes and takes it to the next level. Really want the bigger variant with a gas engine and the 100” wingspan, but the 60E looks to be the best option for the first buy. It’s a super solid and great flying RC. Looking forward to owning both.
I have had five flights on my new Flex RV-8. Good landings and take offs with out flaps. It is plugged into the Aura flight system. "What's the advantage"? I tried engaging half flaps at a high altitude and it pitched up at a 45% angle. Had to disengage it in order to regain control. Whats going on with my set up? I moved battery all the way forward in the fuselage in order to get a proper balance point.
Thats part of flaps. You gain additional lift, typically causing it to pitch up. 1. Slow down. Flaps are meant for slow speed flight. This will reduce the amount of pitch up. 2. Use a mix in your radio's flap system to compensate by applying down elevator when the flaps are down. Most modern radios you can apply a mix for half flap, and a different elevator mix for full flap. Adjust to your preference.
@@FlexInnovations Nice plane Exellent pilot ..pretty sure i seen ailerons working like an elevator mixed with flaps to slow aircraft down 6:42 seems legit looks like it worked too
Yeah baby .i am going to order one from calypso Louis very soon.love my qq300 now time to step it up.qqs line is awesome wouldn’t expect anything less from a world champ pilot
I have several Flex aircraft and they all fly great now if I could get one of the Pro flying owners to show me how to do the stuff they do. Thanks for designing and building aircraft that make a mediocre pilot like me look good.
i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Nicholas Mohammad thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
A comparable sized balsa plane with good equipment would cost more. Not sure Aura8 adds that much, they seem to be including it at cost I think. I think we pay for the R&D expenses and the fact that these are large planes. Aerodynamics are great on Flex planes.

Love the slow take off and landing. Very graceful. The plane and the flight were a joy to watch. Thank you for posting.
I love the fact that if Flex Innovations were to release a brick it would still be able to fly 3D
Have you seen their roof tile go 3D..? 😂🤣🇦🇺

The 3:08 flip was awesome.
Quique Somenzini, I took pictures with you at the 1994 TOC the year you won.25 years ago. I'm sold on this airplane.
What a Awesome Airplane, Can’t believe you can Fly so slow. Does Aura 8 help you that Much. Great Flying. Sir
Great looking addition to the Flex Family. Ok, just take my money!
Amazing flying. I don’t think I have seen the flip at 3:11 before, the plane danced on air from takeoff to landing.
Flex did it again, another awesome flying plane!
Got-eem! I’ll be assembling my G2 on Saturday! Then I can fly it just like Quique in a few decades 😂👍
Impress flight ! How did you spin at 5.20 please ,where to put the stick ?

So what 6s battery was used for this video? What was the c rating?
@@richardpowellTV ya it does!
what's next from flex?
I have several Flex aircraft and they all fly great now if I could get one of the Pro flying owners to show me how to do the stuff they do. Thanks for designing and building aircraft that make a mediocre pilot like me look good.
Looks great! I can't wait to get my hands on one!

@Nicholas Mohammad It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
@Cullen Luka Happy to help =)
Beautiful plane
Looks awesome. I might have to get one.
Which mode is he flying on
He's typically switching between the flight modes depending on what he is doing. This is the 'Expert' Aura profile for this airplane.
Thanks for the response.. I think You call the two module as stock and expert. If this is correct then thanks 🙏🏻
Another solid flying plane from Flex Innovations.
What is the maneuver Quique is performing at minute 3:00?
Knife edge spin.
I love the flex planes but they seem expensive. I know they have that aura 8 but I see great gyros go for$40

@@mathursharad007 yes that's true. I was thinking about getting one of their planes. Possibly the flex jet.
it's really awesome,thank's lot
Well...you're getting my money!!!
Perfekt!!!!
If it was me flying this plane it could almost do none of this.
Good loocking and flying plane but for the price you get very poor quality. Disappointed about that.
WOW 😳
You are one cool pilot.
I've owned 4 Flex Innovations planes and all of their quality has been pretty lacking. Flex really needs to find a better Chinese manufacturer..
What planes were those? My qq extra has been my favorite plane for years
@@Andomosity my RV8 was a shocker and a fiends Mamba had fit and finish issues too.. Once you modify the parts to fit properly they fly great 👍🏼
I don’t own one but have heard the same …..great flying but issues with some of the components….have to replace control horns with du-bro stuff.
