I was raised in this town, (Selma to be exact) way back in the 60's and 70's. In fact, my 93 year old mother still lives there and my father's buried there. The place sure hasn't changed much over the years. Lots of memories revived in this short video, especially of the Stonewall Jackson movie theater....spent a lot of time there!
Fellow former Selma resident here as well, though a little younger. Born in '72. Loved Carter's Store, Bingo (and Santa) at the fire house, walking to and from school in 4th grade, sledding down the hills; great memories!
nice lady ...Humpback Bridge is not in Covington by the way,it’s in Alleghany County. Then again who cares it’s a wonderful video. Thanks Summer you did a wonderful job, sweetie.

Sad seeing the houses boarded up but I still love the place anyway.
