Hey, I have a question; not really about Trimping/Surfing. What recorder do you use? I want to make Evade videos but Im not sure what recorder I should use, I do use OBS but the video has some effect or something.

@@extro7757 i use obs for most of my recordings, but it doesn’t run too well on lower end computers so that might be your problem

A place to start practicing is the 2 houses roof in the desert map.
You speed up from the first one, jump and then hold W and you’ll trimp.
For advanced attempts, the red barrels next to them can help

All I want to say is thank you. Up until the point of stumbling across your first video i only knew b hopping because I've played a lot of games that use that mechanic. Ever since I watched that video I learnt and use slide b hopping, wall running and im getting a lot better at super jumping because of this video.
I'm glad that you made this, more people need to know our technique.

TYSM I was having so much trouble on super jumping! I was really confused about super jumping
I actually did alot of trimmping (accidentally) in one round but it actually helps you escape nextbots but you should mention that you need to watch where you are going because you often bang into random stuff and lose some speed (and might get downed if you are not focused) as he said in the vid yes trimmping is not that easy to learn unless you try and practice

Tip: If your running from nextbots but are unsure if theyre still follwing, press "R" WHILE running. You will be able to look behind you without stopping or losing stamina. Its really helpfullll

For those people who don't know the techniques In evade:
B-Hopping
Wall hugging
Air Strafing
Trimping
Slide Hopping

I like the trimping but I’m a mobile player and that is very hard and strafing on mobile is also very hard ( unless you use 3 fingers at a time). But thanks anyway! I’ll train those tricks until I’m doing it well. ( I made it once on the roof but in seraph but not the higher one, the bottom one.

I feel like trimping has something to do with the r6 model, I've seen in other games that you can go really high with enough speed. (Roblox parkour for example)
I'm sure you'll have to hit around half of your leg while jumping at a high speed.
Jump or not, it gives a bounce, I love these movement systems.
(Edit: I figured since you jump, you cannot move anywhere else except the direction you jumped from, so it keeps overloading the collision checks.
It's my theory.)

i am pretty sure its just you being flung, it happens the same with the motorcycle gears and simply high velocity, if you we're to crash at a slope/bump at a high speed, it just flings you
it mostly happens when theres a bump and you're going at a high speed

doesn’t really make a difference, i prefer first person though
i think its easier on third person if your trying to trimp on a object but first person good

as a former garrys mod bhopper when i hopped into this game i instantly found out that strafe turning up ramps boost u into the air. i did not know about the little object u can bounce off of tho

You can actually use accidents of trimping as a use to outrun, its actually kind of a good trick in my opinion.

1:51 theres is one if your on xbox or any console game you can silde by holding the shoot button AND NOTE ITS HOLD so if you slide or slide and stop on a object you surely go high

BTW quick tip: smoother flicks give better results, but faster is better! fps unlocker really helps with keeping it fast and smooth!
you can also trimp with speed at 2:37 that thing you landrd on in spots, i once accidently did that and went flyinf
