Gian Abella Katejina is certainly in the top 10 of waifus, and considering how many waifus gundam has, it’s an achievement. In case you’re curious, haman will always be number one
Does anyone remember Gundam: Target in Sight? Personally my favourite Gundam game of all time because of how grounded and raw it's combat was. I prefer the realism over action heavy Gundam games and it really made feel like I was controlling a mobile suit.
Liked that one too but there was a big problem with invisible walls that didnt block enemies (just frustrating to get shot to pieces by enemies while you're out of ammo and the enemies are out of bounds and therefore out of melee range :/
@@TheAzureGhost Go pick up Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081, its like Target in sight/crossfire on drugs. online co-op interesting story characters. lots of mobile suits and easy to navigate menus.

I find it particularly awesome that we see the physical hardware for all the games being shown off, so emulation is still legal as the proof of having a physical copy is right there in the video.
I was wondering about something, imagine if you make a “What if” video about a certain character or faction from certain timelines of the Gundam series and made some changes to it. It’s basically Masakox version of “what if” based on the Dragon Ball franschise, but with Gundam. If you are curious about it, take a good look at one of his videos and you will get the idea. It may sound crazy, but give it a try.
Lost War Chronicles is easily my favourite Gundam game of all time. I can credit it for getting me started on Gunpla and Gundam in general. Love the box you have btw! And that Hyaku Shiki themed PS2, damn! XP (Still bummed as I still haven't unlocked the Ez8, and hence Shiro Amada cutscene D:)
For me, my favorite series of gundam games has to be the Breaker series as it fills that gundam fans dream. Imagine building the gundam with parts from your favorites to create that unique gundam. To me, that got me hooked with the story and vast amount of gundam made it a fan favorite for me. Hell, I've bought every single one from the PS3 all the way to the current PS4 and do enjoy them.
How about a simulation/FPS style game where you’re an ace and you customize your Gundam rig? Something where we can free-fly and practice both strategy and accuracy in the gameplay?
There are so many crazy scenarios you can make happen in geirans greed. Like just small stuff inside the scenarios you can change like the mobile suits and events of certain people. It has literally everything.
Gundam SEED Battle Assault is one of my most favourite game for the GBA emulator. I even play it with multiple combo I could do with each MS. Seriously, had to be my personal best fighting game I would always love. Also in Destiny sequel, my favourite MS would be the Red Astray
For me I actually played this game before knowing anything about gundam, back in elementry school someone gave me a GBA with this game's cartrige included so I started playing it, I remember loving the game, then looked up the title and discovered Gundam Seed the anime and all the other Gundam series lol
Wow... you still have a Sega Saturn!? That's awesome! I had played the Blue Destiny and Lost War Chronicles before. The first Gihren's Greed I played was in a Sega Saturn. :)
I've played Gundam SEED Destiny, F91 and Lost War Chronicles. All good games. Lost War Chronicles is my favorite of the group, but also the most frustrating because the walking speed on most MS is really slow. Makes you feel like you have to boost/jump to get anywhere in a hurry. Upgrading from a GM or Ground GM to Alex doesn't help much either. Although Alex is significantly more durable.
the dynasty warriors gundam series is in all honesty, my all time favorite gundam games, because its an easy pick up and play game type, plus it actually got me back into gundam after casually watching some on Toonami
Gundam Side Story 0079 : Rise from the ashes on the Sega Dreamcast is really worth playing if you ever get the chance. Sd Gundam Gashapon Wars is a strategy game with power stone style battles for Wii and Gamecube. Its made by the Smash Bros developers too, and has suits from UC and Seed.
I remember playing a Seed based Gundam game in the PSP back then.. I can't remember the title.. You're basically a grunt and you can join in to either fight against or join alongside Zaft, you can assist the archangel and Kira or Athrun and his team.
I still play that game to this day! that mission mode was great and vastly underrated- it felt like you were actually playing it to the show because most suits go down in one or two shots
The F91 super nintendo game was best played applying range logic with the weap u were going to use, at least that's how i played and enemies dropped like flies
Capcom released monster hunter on steam with major success if they were to release a gundam game with tons of customization being able to pick from the lowest of the grunts to the most unique prototype it will make gundam even more known internationally
My favorite is Gundam vs Zeta Gundam. Such a fucking rad game. Everything just FEELS like they should. Combat is extremely simplistic, but every suit feels and moves like it should.
The gundam games I've still got are Journey to Jaburo, Encounters in Space. Federation vs Zeon, Gundam Seed:Never Ending Tommorow, Gundam Verse, and as of October 1st Battle Operation 2 but I still want. VS plus, Battle Assult 3, Side Story, and Destiny plua
I got into gundam when i was a kid, and i had a copy of msg: journey to jaburo. While the pace was kind of slow, the game was overall pretty fun for me, and made me want to watch the shows.
So, I looked up Gihren's Greed, and it looks cool but the what-if possibilities are really uneven imo. On one hand, it's great that you can make Zeon win throughout the whole story (I mean in-universe it's horrifying but from a player perspective it's cool), and some events can butterfly quite nicely, but on the other hand a lot of events still take place like they did in canon despite your game being wildly divergent. For example, the White Base still has to go through a long and convoluted journey to get to Jaburo even if you reconquered most of Earth as the Federation. Still, it's nice that your choices matter in at least some cases.
Lost War Chronicles was sequeled for a US Release but poor sales of prior UC themed Gundam games caused them to decide to cancel it. The next two Gundam games that came to the USA ended up being Seed themed tragically.
If anyone reading this is interested in Lost War or have recently played SD Gundam Battle Alliance, I recommend Gundam Battle Assault on the PSP. This game has the exact gameplay feeling (slow and chunky) If youre from Lost War, this game has lot more Suits- 300 to be exact, it also counts Mobile Armors and SFS. Assault Survive has almost all of UC stuff imaginable (Unicorn is one of the unfortunate). The game also has SEED, SEED Destiny and 00 Season 1 as a bonus stuff If youre from Battle Alliance, this game doesnt have the chibi/super deformed style. A positive or a negative merit based on the person Assault Survive has limited character creation but it is really important. If you chose the correct stuff, you can be a John Smith (aka normal person), New Type, Coordinator (can use any anything lmao) or Meister. And so, the game will lock you out from certain Suits, but the game does give you characters from the anime as an emergency backup
I would kill for a Gundam RTS, or Gundam war board game similar to Axis and Allies, with infantry, tanks, Zakus GM's and the RX-78 and Chars red zaku being hero units! MAKE IT HAPPEN, BANDAI!
I liked Rise From the Ashes more but Blue Destiny is fantastic. It emulates perfectly in SSF as well. I've heard a lot about Lost War Chronicles but I never tried it. I need to get to that.

I know because I've actually played the game before doing exactly that and only now I know the real title
2 games that aren't super popular you shoulda brought up (maybe another list?) -gundam 0079 rise from the ashes (an improved version of blue destiny that's way more mech sim-y) -gundam senjou no kizuna (psp port of the japan only arcade pod game, it's really fun, especially so in multiplayer, cockpit view is mandatory. Surprisingly good for a psp port) Surprised you brought up lost war chronicles, that one's pretty good. There's also MS FRONT 0079 which is like lost war chronicles but first person only, on Wii but that one varies in quality from pretty good to awful on a dime.
I beat LWC on the PS2 and unlocked all the mobile suits. Once you get the GP-01 game is over. I used to have a modded PS2 but now I run all my PS2 games from my Modded PS3. For some reason I cannot get LWC, or Sega Macross to work from the PS3 hard drive, still LWC was fun and challenging. It too me weeks to beat the Efreet Custom. And Im surprised you left out Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081 for PS3 as well as Bandai/Namco Gundam 0079 PS2 game. Do you have a PS3, mainly a backwards compatible one or an older slim Kakarot197?
Personally I’m a bit crossed when it comes to my favourite gundam game Zeonic Front and MS Saga: A New Dawn. Both games take a different look at the gundam world. Front puts u in the shoes of the bad guys in the one year war with being more strategy base requiring planning to complete some missions. On the other hand new dawn plays much more like Pokémon rpg and it have collect items in order for to unlock new suit.
JamesBLonde0059 that's indeed somewhat borderline. For a retro Gundam it's very popular, but I'm not sure of it's popularity when stacked up to modern games. Will consider it for the follow up video.
gundam seed rengou vs zaft and GVG next plus were even better- gvg was the first major evolution in the series and was very much playable even without translation (although someone did a minor one)
I emulated that F91 game way back in the day, and I think I did a couple rounds with that GBA SEED game. My Lost War Chronicles consumption has been via the manga, but I have to say that sidestory has the absolute best UC operator waifus.
No Gundam Assault Survive either.... Both CLIMAX UC and Assault Survive give player something never seen before in Gundam Games(playing as characters than not have Anime in Climax UC and player own character in Assault Survive)

I dont know if you did one but did you do a 5 gundam game that everyone a least played that was good. (us version)
No Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Climax ?
No Gundam Assault Survive either.... Both CLIMAX UC and Assault Survive give player something never seen before in Gundam Games(playing as characters than not have Anime in Climax UC and player own character in Assault Survive)
Gihren’s Greed was the reason I learned Japanese.
LOST WAR CHRONICLES IS ONE OF THE BEST!
