I had to keep pausing the video because I thought I heard my own family, hahaha! I played the bourbon burst Session and it was really awesome. Loved the finish too. I wonder how different this one with the SD pickup is. I see some for so cheap used.
No, the guitar is not made of American parts and assembled in Canada, it is made of Canadian parts and assembled in the USA. Godin is a Canadian company with their HQ in Montreal.
This is a great question, without measuring it I don’t think I can say. And there are no specs out there only it’s a Godin tru-lock system. I am away at the moment but I would be happy to measure mine 🤙 Let me know if you want me to 🤙🎸 Thanks for the question 🤙
@@thebudgetguitarist9721 that would be great. yes, i wish to know saddles width and distance between point (screws) don't really know correct terminology in English. I searched for specs and asked support for such an information, but there was no response. I like idea of godin comfortable guitars and quality control, but non lockable tremolo arm will be loose after some time of active tremolo use and replacement will be needed. Also, i didn't find video examples of their true lock bridge work. I mean real floating tremolo work. Vegatrem for example gives possibility to use dive bomb and almost all floyd rose techniques, not as stable, but it's possible. So i can't be shure that if i'll order godin session, true lock will fit my needs and maybe i will need a tremolo replacement
Just got it tonight. Spot on for the finish and parts quality. Sounds nice too. I understand this model is now discontinued in favour of the HT model but since I am a lefty, this one was my only choice. Godin barely has lefty models now. I prefer it over a Fender Player at similar price. The Fenders frets protrude and have somewhat sharp edges. The Godin is smooth all along. Like you I prefer the neck and mid pickup arrangement, the output is crisp and sounds very pleasing. Overall, with a few hours of play, I think it was a gr8 putchase. The drawback with Godin is the resale value being quite low. I live in Quebec Canada where they are made and Godin’ guitars sell high and resell low. A well maintained, similarly priced Fender will keep value a lot more. I chose the Session LTD because it feels like a Fender American Pro for the price of a Player model. It will be a keeper for me. I am very happy with it and can’t wait to see all it can do :)

I still have my session! Can’t seem to let it go 🤙🎸
Thanks for your comment and thanks for taking the time to watch 🤙🎸
Maybe Godin is hoping to become a better known brand name if they put their name on enough places on the axe.
🤣🤣
I just got a Godin Radium. It's pretty heavy but I do love the gig bag. Way nicer than my Taylor bag.
Thanks for taking the time to watch 🤙🎸
Looking at getting this guitar in the exact same colour. Couldn’t have found a more perfect review. Thanks!
Wow thanks Zeke what a lovely thing to say 🙏
These guitars are incredible, I still play mine all the time 🤙🎸
@@thebudgetguitarist9721 I'm glad to hear the positive review! I ordered mine yesterday, cannot wait to get my hands on it :D
